Oooh, sunflowers are on this month’s card! How summery!

There isn’t a traditional information card or invoice included with the subscription box; you get a personalized handwritten card with styling suggestions instead. I love all the styling tips Nicole and her team included! Their selections for me are always so thoughtful too.

Brown Kaftan - Retail Value Unavailable

I love kaftans, probably due to Mrs. Roper from Three’s Company! She always had these amazing flowing, kitschy, psychedelic kaftans. Nicole said in her note that this kaftan is from the 60s or 70s, but the fabric feels more modern to me. The material is a stretchy, slinky, possible viscose and polyester blend. It hugs the body, but the winged kaftan sleeves give it the customary flowy kaftan look. Regardless of the era this kaftan is from, this piece is incredibly comfortable. I typically don’t gravitate towards the color brown, but I can see wearing this as a cover up for my leopard print bikini at the beach or pool. This could easily be worn in the office for a Mrs. Roper Career Woman look with retro wooden platform heels or embellished sandals and bangles (preferably gold or wooden ones).

Verdict: This month’s CHC selection was not necessarily one I would have picked for myself, but I appreciate it nonetheless! I am eager to wear this dress as a cover-up at the pool this summer. CHC continues to be one of my favorite boxes because finding vintage pieces in plus sizes can truly be a tall order. They never fail to find me fantastic pieces that fit my personality and style well! Being an avid thrifter, I can tell you that finding plus sizes in vintage can be a harrowing task. I love the thrill of the retro garment chase through thrift stores and Etsy alike, but having a convenient service like CHC  that provides quality vintage pieces is priceless!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? CHC Vintage curates its boxes based on each individual’s preferences as well as what’s available. It is a vintage clothing service, so there rarely are duplicates of pieces. CHC offers an extremely personalized service. Sign up and see what they choose for you!

Nicole you look absolutely stunning in that caftan. I think Brown is your color. I loved the way you styled it and I think you could wear just like you have it styled. Makes me want to try this sub out. I love it on you!!!

This is honestly one of my favorite things I’ve seen you model so far. There’s something about that little gold cinch that elevates it.
