Bubbles & Books June 2018 Review
This month’s box came with a little information card! Since we just had the Royal Wedding and tons of weddings happen over the summer, this months theme was “Bridal.”
Everywhere and Every Way by Jennifer Probst - Retail Value $16 (found here for $9.28)
I will just come out and say it—this book is HOT. I finished it the day after I started it, and immediately after that, I bought the next book in the series. Jennifer Probst has a great way of creating fictional characters that most women (and some men) will find themselves attracted to, and the buildup of sexual tension throughout the book makes you keep flipping page after page to see if what you want to happen is actually going to happen. Make no mistake, this isn't a great work of literary fiction that will be nominated for a prestigious book award, but if you're in the mood for a great chick flick-romance novel style book with badass female characters, this is a winner. My book did arrive a little bent from shipping, but that didn't bother me. From Amazon:

Bubbles & Books Premium Handmade Soap in Jamaica Me Crazy
This soap is a Bubbles & Book exclusive, handmade with olive oil, coconut oil, soybean oil, corn oil, sunflower oil, shea butter, water, and lye. I love the gorgeous colors of the pink and orange, and the scent is the perfect combination of fruity and floral. This is the soap I want to have out on display so when I have company come over they will think “wow, she really has her life together—just look at that soap.”
Bubbles & Books Premium Bath Bomb in Petal Dance
I loved this bath bomb! The floral scent was deep and strong (which is how I prefer my scents), and it made some gorgeous bath art. When the bomb was almost done dissolving I was surprised with a burst of yellow mixing in with the pink. I hope a bath bomb comes in every month's box because this made for the perfect bath to sit back and read with.
Wedding Favor Bookmark
Keeping with the bride theme of the month, this bookmark looks like a wedding favor I would find at my seat at the reception. The bookmark itself is a thin metal “xoxo” attached to a white tassel, which means finding my spot in the book is a breeze!
Flower Petals and Petal Catcher
I thought this collection of fake flower petals was a cute way to stick with the theme, and I loved that they included the petal catcher so when you scatter the petals in your bath they won’t go down the drain! This is a neat little novelty that ties in great to the overall theme of the box.
Fairy Tale Pin
This cute button was included as a reminder that all weddings have a bit of fairy tale in them. I thought that was a really cute sentiment, and I really identify with the “powered by fairy dust and wine” quote.
Verdict: This was my first month receiving Bubbles & Books, and I really love how it combines two of my favorite things—reading and baths! I really enjoyed the book pick, and the other items included really created a well thought out experience. I can easily see myself paying $30.99 (the cost of the box plus shipping) for a new book, an artisan bar of soap, and a bath bomb, so I love the convenience factor this box adds! If you love to read romance novels and enjoy a good bath, I definitely say you should give this box a shot.
