The box comes with a booklet of information about brands featured in the box as well as short articles that center around the theme of the month, which is "Escape".

There's also a more standard info card, which features the product list for the box.

Bombay and Cedar Roman Chamomile Essential Oil, 10 ml - Listed Value $19.00

Each box comes with two proprietary 100% pure essential oil blends.

There are also cards that talk about the qualities of each blend. The chamomile one was a little too tea-ish for me, but I found the palmarosa really intriguing. It smells like a deep, rich, fruity rose.

Enjoy Life Chewy Bar in Lemon Blueberry Poppy Seed, 1.15 oz. - Listed Value $1.00, Buy 5 bars for $4.99 here

This healthy little treat tastes just like a muffin! I like when bars are chewy rather than crunchy—it just feels like more of a treat!

This Journal Is Going Places Travel Journal by Knock Knock - Retail Value $15.00

I love the prompts inside this colorful travel journal! It's great that they include space for six trips worth of memories, plus spaces to draw, list, and document out your adventures. The protective plastic cover is nice, too, especially if I'm heading to the beach or tossing my journal in a bag with water bottles and snacks and such!

Babo Botanicals After Sun Soothing Hydrating Gel, 8 fl. oz. - Retail Value $14.95

I was JUST talking about buying a bottle of this kind of product the other day! It makes such a big difference in the condition and comfort of my skin after it's been in the sun, especially if it's a bit pinker than I'd prefer. The aloe is cooling and soothing, and the formula absorbs relatively quickly.

F'lint Metallic Lint Roller - Retail Value $9.99

My partner's cats loooove to shed all over the place. He's good about keeping standard hardware-store lint rollers around the house, but I like the idea of keeping this sleek lint roller in my purse for those moments when I get to work and notice a few stray kitty hairs. The cover comes in different colors, so some subscribers may have received some other metallic hues, but I love this pink-tinted one. A simple twist of the bottom of the tube and the sticky sheets extend out the other end.

J'Aime Earth Essence Oil - Retail Value $24.00

I LOVE this fragrance! It's musky and alluring—I feel like it'll be the perfect hint of intriguing aroma to accompany a warm summer evening. It's really cute how there are tiny crystals floating in the bottom of the bottle, too.

ORG Travel Size Oxygen Cleanser, 0.18 fl. oz. - Retail Value $5.00

This tiny bottle contains a wonderfully bubbly cleanser that left my skin feeling fresh and happy. It also includes collagen to help plump and firm skin while you wash. I'm keeping the rest of this cleanser to bring along on a few day trips I'm taking this month. It's only big enough to fit in my pocket, which is really convenient on the go!

bombay and cedar rolled up towel

Turkish Towel by Eastern Boho - Retail Value $44.00

Have we reached peak Turkish towel time? I have to admit, I'm not quite over this trend yet. I've been going to the pool a lot more this summer than in previous years, and lightweight towels like this one make great blankets to lay on. It's also big and scarf-like enough to use as a sarong.

Bonus Item: True Clutch True2Go Handle Water Bottle Carabiner - Retail Value $0.99

If you share the previous month's box on social media, you get a special bonus thank you gift in your box! This month, I got a stretchy rubber ring with a carabiner attached. The idea is that you loop the ring around the neck of your water bottle, so you can clip it to your keys or bag with ease!

Verdict: This month's box was filled with handy on-the-go items that feel just right for summer. I'm always impressed by the well-rounded curation and the quality of the items I get. I have things to take to the pool, on vacation, and on my everyday commute, too!

This box cost $56.90, including shipping, but I estimate that there was $146.94 worth of value inside, not including the bonus item. A few of the items were exclusives or didn't have individual prices that I could find online, but the retail values I could find already added up to $112.94!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. But order by the 12th of the month to get the July box!

Value Breakdown: This box costs $49.95 + $6.95 shipping, which means that each of the 9 items in the box (not including the bonus carabiner) has an average cost of $6.32.

While I generally like Bombay boxes, this particular one would have been a disappointment. The only attractive item is the towel, but I already have one and don’t need more.
