Wantable Fitness is a fitness styling subscription service similar to Stitch Fix. You fill out an in-depth survey about your fitness clothing preferences, and your stylist picks out items for you. Wantable Fitness has been around for years, but they announced in December that they were expanding to include plus sizes, and I could not be more excited! I signed up right away!

This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Wantable Plus Fitness May 2018 Review

When I signed up for this service, I took a pretty lengthy quiz in which I indicated my price, size and style preferences. I would expect what I receive to be reflective of my tastes, and for these boxes to vary quite a bit from subscriber to subscriber. This is a note from my stylist, Tatjana. It explains why she chose the items she picked for me.

This is the invoice of the items they sent me this month. On the right it shows my cost to keep each item. The total comes to $411. If I keep everything, I get 20% off, plus I get my $20 styling fee deducted. That means a potential discount of $102.20. That's a deep discount!

Scoop Neck Short Sleeve T-Shirt by Nola

Scoop Neck Short Sleeve T-Shirt by Nola - Cost to Keep $50

This tee is really cute! It's a poly spandex blend with a knit feel. I really like the cut, it's a good one for my body type. I also like the space dye effect!

High Rise Laced Ankle Legging by Marika Curves - Cost to Keep $60

I love these leggings! These might be my favorite piece in the box this month! I absolutely love the strap detail on the calves. It's just so cute! These are also really comfortable, with just the right amount of compression. I can see myself wearing these on long walks and feeling great in them. Here's a close-up of the detail:

Training Jacket by Shape Active - Cost to Keep $94

I have a hard and fast rule that I do not buy long sleeves or any cool weather clothing after Easter. I live in Atlanta, and it just doesn't make sense to buy a jacket in May. Having said that, this is a nice jacket. I love thumb holes! This is not my favorite color for jackets, but I do really like the vented yoke on the back. This is a fairly thick poly spandex blend. I would love to see something like this in October!

Paia Strappy Back Tee by Shape Active

Paia Strappy Back Tee by Shape Active - Cost to Keep $58

I absolutely love the back of this lightweight cotton knit tee! Unfortunately, the front does not look good on me. The cut and color are not flattering. The straps are super cute, though!

Relax Pant by ActiveZone - Cost to Keep $52

These pants don't really look like anything special, but they feel amazing! They are so soft, yet they feel well made like they will last for a long time. They are also nice and loose through the legs but supportive through the hips and waist. They are a tad long, but this is the case with almost every pant I try on due to my stature! I think these might be worth the alteration.

Shift Long Sleeve by Marika Curves

Shift Long Sleeve by Marika Curves - Cost to Keep $50

Wow! I was excited about the back of this top when I took it out of the box, but this is one of the most unflattering tops I have ever tried on. I don't know how they made a solid black top so unflattering, but here we are! The back is super funky, which I like, but it doesn't really look good from any direction. Plus it has long sleeves, so I wouldn't have bought it anyway.

Ava Blurred Capri by Marika Curves - Cost to Keep $55

These leggings, on the other hand, are very cute. I didn't know if I would like the print-to-blurred effect that happens around the knee, but I think I do! I really like the colors, too. These have a great amount of compression, too! Very supportive!

The Verdict: This was another great box from Wantable Fitness Edit! I feel like my stylist really sent me lots of great pieces to choose from. I like that everything also kind of goes together, too. This month was a healthy mix of hits and misses, but I love the strappy leggings! I am really enjoying building a solid workout wardrobe!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Wantable curates its boxes based on each individual's preferences as well as what's available. What you get might not be the same as what I got, but you also might get something that fits your style and body even better than the looks above! Sign up and see what they choose for you!

Value Breakdown: This box cost $20.00 with free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the items inside was $411.00. The cost of each item is listed alongside it above, but if I choose to keep at least 5 items, I get a 20% discount. The $20.00 cost of the box would also be applied to the purchase, meaning I'd end up spending $308.80 for the whole box. Ultimately, that's a savings of about 25%. The average price per piece is $58.71.

1st outfit is great on you- love the leggings- and not a bad price. I like the jacket, but then I freeze in AC so I always carry a jacket no matter where I go.

The back of all the tops are so pretty, but sometimes that really boxy shape isn’t flattering enough on me. I need all the help I can get up top, and I just prefer nothing tight across my belly.

Your pics are always great- Thanks so much!
