Uncorked Box May 2018 Review
Each month there is an info card with box contents on the back and on the front, the box theme. This month’s theme is “For The Mom Who Deserves Her Own Time Out”, too funny!
This tumbler is amazing! I love enjoying a glass of wine on my deck, but then you run the risk of bugs flying in. This allows you to drink a glass of wine safely without sharing with bugs, not to mention it’s so cute! It is insulated so you can use it for reds, whites, rose, or even a mixed drink.
Home Is Where The Wine Is Door Sign
This little door sign is a cute kitchen item to hang on a pantry door or even for a basement door if that is the party room in your house. This item doesn’t really match the decor in my home, but I think it would make a great gift for a girlfriend. I love the dainty bow and lace background.
This dish towel is 100% cotton but it feels a lot like burlap, just not as rough. The quality is amazing and extremely sturdy. I love the saying on here as well, “If you don’t like the food have more wine.” I love cooking, especially when it involves wine, so this is the perfect towel for my kitchen.
The information card calls this a wine tag, but it seems a little big and bulky for a bottle of wine. I think it would make a really cute door tag though! It would be a great gift for a friend at the office, or even used as a tag on a box of wine (my favorite).
These coasters are adorable! They are rather small and delicate, which would make them great to use for a girl’s night in. I am having some friends over for dinner in a few weeks so I might bring these out then for everyone to enjoy. They are just too cute to not use!
True Tea Co. Mulled Wine Spice, 10 g – Buy 100 grams of loose leaf tea for $5.23
Mmm, spiced wine! This little bag smelled amazing once I opened it. This blend is a take on the traditional winter wine punch that you can use to make a hot or cold cup of tea. This does arrive as a loose leaf, but I have sadly misplaced my tea infuser. I am going to hold onto this bag for when I have a new one to use to make a nice hot cup of delicious mulled wine!
Verdict: This month’s box was a wonderful curation of wine-themed items! I loved the tumbler and the dish towel so much. The other items weren’t exactly my style, but they are all great quality which would make for great gifts. I can’t wait to use the silicon coasters, they are great for a girl’s night! This month I received six items, which is up from last month, and the overall curation had a fun variety that I really loved!
