The Men's Target box featured a lot of everyday products, and mostly from well-known brands.
It comes with a little information about each item along with a $3 coupon off a personal care purchase of $15 or more.
Dove Men + Care Extra Fresh Body and Face Bar - Value $.99 based on 4-pack of 4 ounces bars
My favorite item of the box is pretty basic, but smells and feels great - it's this Dove body and face bar.
The bar itself is slightly smaller than the 4-ounce bars included in their 4-pack - so, after some math, it's value is around $.99. The bar itself is perfect for me, I've been using this for the past few days and love the scent and light moisturization it's providing.
Cremo Blue Cedar and Cypress Body Wash - Value $.56 based on 16-ounce full-size
There were two different body washes to try in the June box, the first of which comes from Cremo. It's a typical body wash, but the scent gave me no hint of a woodsy smell - it's more of a strong cologne to me - not a favorite for me purely based on the scent.
Method Men Cedar + Cypress Body Wash - Value $1.99
The second body wash is from Method. Again, it's a cedar and cypress scent the just smells way too much like cologne for me. After two tests of each of these, it's probably more likely that I just don't like a cedar and cypress scent more than the smell not being woodsy enough.
Degree MotionSense Deodorant - Value $.79 based on 76 gram full-size
There was a single deodorant stick to try in the box - and it's a Degree MotionSense antiperspirant. It's pretty mini - but it should be could for a few uses - the sent is great for me and it works.
Old Spice Hair Pomade - Value $6.89
This is the big-ticket full-size item in the box. It's a light-to-moderate hold styling creme with a matte finish.
Nivea Creme - Value $1.04 based on 5.3-ounce version
The last item is something I've tried a number of times and really enjoy - it's a Nivea's moisturizing creme for your hands, face, and body. I typically use this on my hands, and typically in the colder months, and it has a clean scent that absorbs rather quickly and doesn't leave that slick feeling on your hands.
Verdict: My values add up to about $12.26 for this box - with over half of the value coming from the pomade by itself. For $7, that's a good value - but you'll pretty much need to want some pomade for it to break over the cost.
To Wrap Up:
