Olia Box Jewelry Subscription Review – April 2018
Olia Box is a jewelry styling box that sends you 2-3 pieces that complement your style each month. Subscribers fill out a questionnaire when they sign up to let your stylist know what tones of metals you wear, what necklace style you prefer, and any other comments you might want to tell them (like pierced ears or ring size).
When you sign up, you’ll get to answer these questions:
- Which metal tone(s) do you wear? (Gold Only, Silver Only, Mix Gold & Silver, or Surprise Me)
- Which necklace style(s) do you prefer? (Everything Dainty, Bold & Chunky, Long Pendants, or Surprise Me)
I chose Surprise Me for each of these. You can change your preferences anytime by sending customer service an email.
There is also a comment box that you can add any additional info you want them to know. I added that I have multiple piercings in each ear.
My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.

Olia Box April 2018 Review
This month’s jewelry includes a necklace and a two pairs of earrings that coordinate. Let’s see how they look!
Silver Metal Fringe Necklace – Estimated Value $20
My mom used to have a similar necklace that I would play with when I was younger. That tells me that this style is timeless, right? Either way, I like the simple yet bold design. It’s comfortable and goes with so many different outfits. I love how light bounces off of all the metals bars in different directions.
Silver Bar Studs – Estimated Value $12
I love little bar studs. I think they look so chic and modern. These little silver bars coordinate perfectly with the necklace. They also go with lots of my other silver necklaces. They’re so comfortable that I don’t even remember I have them on. I really like this back style because they are easy to get on the post and they stay put.
Acrylic Square Hoops – Estimated Value $15
I’m surprised to see such chunky earrings included. They’ve got a funky vibe to them but are still subdued with their grey color scheme. It looks like the white part is actually mother of pearl flakes so they have a bit of sheen to them. Believe it or not, these are actually just as light and comfortable as the studs. While they do work with the necklace, I won’t wear them together. I think each is its own statement.
The Verdict: Olia Box did a great job again this month. I love the mix of dainty and statement and I really love the fact that all of the pieces from every month can be worn together. There are no brand markings on the jewelry, but compared to prices for similar pieces (at Target.com), I estimate a retail value of $47 for this box. I also like that they back up their product with free shipping both ways in case you don’t like what you receive. If you want to try a jewelry box that allows you to pick your style and metal tone, this is a great one.
The Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Olia Box chooses jewelry for you based on your answers to the style choices. You might not get the same items I did, but you may end up with pieces that are even better for you. Sign up now to see what they pick for you!
Value Breakdown: This box cost me $34.99 with free shipping which means that each of the pieces of jewelry in the box has an average cost of $11.66.
