Erin Condren Seasonal Surprise “Hello Sunshine” Box Review + Coupon – Summer 2018
The Erin Condren Seasonal Surprise Box is a quarterly box filled with exciting stationery, journaling, and planner-related finds from the Erin Condren brand. The box includes exclusives, “sneak peeks” at new Erin Condren items, and fan faves. This stationery brand is all about cute details, and that comes through in this box, too—the cardboard box is reversible! Use it to store things or to give a gift to a friend.
FYI, the Summer box is no longer available. They sure do go fast! But you can sometimes find similar products for sale on the Erin Condren site shop.

Erin Condren Seasonal Surprise “Hello Sunshine” Box Summer 2018
Here’s the info card that came with the box. The theme is “Hello Sunshine”!
Exclusive Iridescent Sticker Sheet 2-Pack – Listed Value $6.00
These colorful stickers feature juicy hues and a shimmering finish. The one page features tabs and dots that would be perfect for a journal, datebook, or calendar, while the other includes creative shapes that I’ll likely use to decorate summertime birthday cards and other envelopes.
Sneak Peek Turquoise EC Tumbler, 16 oz. – Listed Value $10.00
Sometimes this subscription includes “sneak peek” items that haven’t hit their site shop yet. This sea blue tumbler is the first sneak peek item in this season’s box. I love the contrast of the blue cup and the likewise translucent hot pink straw. I welcome reusable cups into my kitchen—I have a good collection going and am slowly but surely getting better at bringing them with me to coffee shops, etc. where I use them to replace landfill-bound disposables. I also tend to store the straws separately so I can easily nab one for any smoothies/frosty cocktails/milkshakes I make at home. My only gripe about this cup is that it’s not machine washable, but it’s a small gripe!
Exclusive Hello Sunshine Glasses Case and Cleaning Cloth – Listed Value $15.00
I don’t wear glasses, but I do have a great track record of accidentally smushing my sunnies! This hard-shell glasses case has a strong tension closure and a velvety smooth exterior. I like the blue and pink color combo (the same one the tumbler had!) and the soft, radiantly patterned cleaning cloth is a nice addition to the product. Sometimes I feel a little let down when these kinds of cases come without anything inside (a pair of sunglasses would’ve been fun to find inside the case). But that doesn’t make it any less useful.
Exclusive Metallic Gold Jot Your Thought Journal – Listed Value $9.00
This 5.7″ x 8.25″ saddle-stitched notebook is the kind of thing I like to toss inside my purse or tote when I’m heading out for the day. I’m a bit note-taker/list-maker, so having some lined paper to jot notes on at a moment’s notice is super handy. I’m so-so on the pineapple design, though I do like the combo of purple and metallic gold.
Sneak Peek 3-Piece Neon Dual-Tip Marker Set – Listed Value $8.00
The smaller tips of these markers make them great for jotting down brightly colored notes while the bigger end is okay for highlighting. (It’s not as wide as a typical chisel tip highlighter, but it’ll still help a line of text pop.) This was one of the less exciting items in the box for me, just because highlighters are relatively common, but I do appreciate the dual-tip feature and the pretty silver patterns on the side of each pen.
Exclusive Pineapple Notepad – Listed Value $6.00
This blue pineapple-shaped notepad is about as long as a big index card, so there’s a good amount of space to write on. I could see using these blue sheets to keep track of small notes, to-dos, or phone numbers at work. They look pretty cheerful tacked up on my office pinboard! Pineapple shapes aren’t generally my thing, but these notes are definitely handy.
Exclusive Set of Three Hair Ties – Listed Value $7.00
My hair is FINALLY long enough to warrant having hair ties hanging around again! When they’re not looped over my bedroom doorknob, I like to keep a hair tie or two on my wrist. Not only do these wide elastics tend to be gentler on my hair, but they also look cute (and feel comfy) on my wrists, almost like they’re little bracelets!
The Verdict: This edition of the Erin Condren Seasonal Surprise Box was colorful, summery, and plenty of fun. I like the fact that they included some summer-inspired items like the tumbler, hair ties, and glasses case, as well as some classic EC items like stationery, stickers, and markers. The fact that the whole box is exclusives and sneak peek items makes it feel more worth it, especially if you’re an avid fan of the brand. (These aren’t just items you could otherwise buy online.)
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No—unfortunately, this box is already sold out!
Coupon – If you are a new customer, use this referral link to get a $10 coupon! (May not work on the box purchase)
Value Breakdown: This box costs $35.00 with free US shipping. Since most products are sneak peeks or exclusive products and thus not available online, I’ll break the value down by saying that the average price per item via the box is $7.00.
