Brazilian Guava Scented Candle - Retail Value $30
(This is an 8-ounce candle with a 37 hour burn time.)
First, I am loving the palm leaf print theme of this box - it has such a tropical luxe vibe! Very on trend, too.
The Brazilian Guava is light and sweet - I absolutely love it. It's a blend of citrus with hints of jasmine and rose. In general, I found the scents in this box to not be as strong as other D.L. & Co candles, but that's fine by me.
Brazilian Guava Scented Candle Tin - Retail Value $28
We have two candles this month with the same scent. This one is a tin with a lid. (The previous one was a glass vessel.)
It has a 65-hour burn time.
Palm Leaf Matches - Retail Value $7.50
I love that DL & Co includes stylish matches as well. These are longer than your typical match, too. (They measure 4 inches long.)
Brazilian Guava Diffuser - Retail Value $32
This has the same sweet and light scent as the candles.
Again, the scent isn't as strong as some of the D. L. & Co. fragrances I've sampled, but it is noticeable in smaller rooms like a powder room.
Palm Leaves Journal - Retail Value $20
This journal features the palm print on the front and back and lined pages inside:
I love that D.L. & Co. includes non-candle home items in their boxes – and they don’t feel like filler, either. This is a quality notebook!
Brazilian Guava Scented Sachet - Retail Value $8
This sachet has a built-in hook so you can hang it in your closet, or keep it in a drawer.
(Again, same scent!)
Pillow Cover – Retail Value $16
This pillow cover measures 18 X 18 inches, features a hidden zipper, and has a fabric composition of 60% Polyester, 30% Cotton, and 10% Viscose.
I love the idea of changing out pillow covers with the seasons to mix up the look of your rooms, but I never seem to buy the replacement covers and do it. So sending me a pillow cover in a subscription box is a perfect way to make me actually do it!
Verdict: This box has a retail value of $141.50! I think that's amazing for a candle and home goods box that cost $50.15! (Or $45.15 with the BOX10 coupon). I absolutely love the palm print and cabana vibe of this box. It feels like a luxe vacation, and it's a great way to add the palm print trend to your home. (Plus, I'm obsessed with the scent!)
Everything in this box is impressive, too - the packaging and scents are all stunning, and this could be a great box to gift, or to split up into multiple gifts.
One thing to call out - usually these boxes are a mix of designs and scents. So if you want a variety this season's box might not be for you.
