Cat Lady Box June 2018 Review
Cat Lady Box is always full of fun, cat-themed lifestyle items. Let’s see what was in store for June:
I love how the information cards have custom artwork every month. And the back has more information about the items in the box.
Catnip Convertible Toy – Listed Value $4.99
This is a small catnip plush. The “windshield” has a different texture than the rest of the fabric (which is fuzzy). Angus showed the most interest in this and I have no doubt I will find it downstairs tomorrow morning. (He brings toys downstairs in the night.)
Fishy Fishies Toy – Listed Value $3.99
Various animals were possible but I got this crab, which I think is pretty cute. (Real crabs, not so much.) Several cats found this one interesting. (This is also a catnip plush.)
License Plate Frame – Listed Value $19.99
I have never received a license plate frame in a subscription box. My car currently has a frame from the dealer (not very exciting, I know, and not even good advertising for the dealer since the car was purchased in Missouri and I live in Georgia). Anyway, this will go nicely with my cat-related magnets. I just need to figure out where my husband has put the screwdrivers.
Bright Cats Insulated Tumbler – Listed Value $14.99
I have definitely received tumblers in subscription boxes before, but this one is larger than some of those. That makes it great for making iced tea at work (I brew hot tea, fill the tumbler with ice, and pour the cooled tea over the ice). Also, I am not very good about washing them so having replacements every now and then is handy.
Summer of Meow T-Shirt – Listed Value $22.99
Cat Lady Box likes to mix it up with the shirt styles but these short-sleeved tees are probably my favorites. They’re great for weekend errands. This one is a little large for me (they don’t offer size XS, which is probably what I need) but super soft and comfortable.

And then she’s like, well, maybe I will at least sniff this.
Mr. Kitty has been rubbing his eye so he needs the cone for now (we want him to keep it since it’s the only one he has!).
I’m pretty sure he did not appreciate this.
Verdict: I calculated a value of $66.95 for the June 2018 (Crazy) Cat Lady Box. That is definitely more than I paid for the box. I prefer the short-sleeved style of shirt we received this month and I also like that this tumbler is a bit larger than some of the ones I’ve received in other boxes. And, I didn’t have a cute license plate frame before (just the default one from the car dealer). I definitely appreciate getting some unique and seasonally-appropriate items this month.
