Boxes include 3+ photography props and accessories such as scarves, glasses, and shoes. Onesies are not included, but they will suggest a onesie color in your shipping email so that you are able to prepare for your shoot ahead of time.

Baby Booth Box June 2018 Review
The theme for this month is Beach Bums and here they show a suggested setup which I find incredibly helpful as a novice photographer! Of course, this is a perfect theme for June and it’s getting me very excited for our own beach vacation!
They also show a picture of the girl version - the floral swimsuit with ruffles is too cute!
Anchor Tote Bag - Buy 12 for $11.99
Floral Lei - Buy 12 for $9.99
Each box includes a little gift for mom. This month we received an anchor tote bag and a nice colorful lei. These were really cute to go along with the theme. I appreciated that the lei was much prettier than your standard fake lei. The tote bag is a good size at 15”x17” and while it isn’t as heavy duty as a canvas bag, it will make for a cute bag for light loads!
In our first box, we received this milestone blanket valued at $19.99. Everything centers around this blanket that is numbered 1-12 with the phrases weeks and months at the bottom. The blanket is nice, but a little bit thin. I throw it in the dryer for a few minutes with a wet towel and it comes out wrinkle-free and ready to go for our photoshoot.
Mini Nautical Canvas Tote Bag - Buy 12 for $14.99
Mommy and baby have matching bags! How cute is this little anchor bag? It actually holds a lot more than it seems like it would and I’ll probably end up giving it to my 3-year-old daughter to use since it’s the perfect size for her.
Stuffed Sea Turtle - Buy 12 for $14.99
What beach scene is complete without a cute little sea turtle? This isn’t very well made and probably won’t last long, but I think it is the perfect addition to this little beach scene. It definitely ups the cuteness factor!
Mini Beach Playsets - Buy 12 for $11.99
Baby’s first beach toys! I apologize for how much I have used the word cute in this review, but seriously, these are so cute and will be the perfect size for when baby gets just a little bit bigger!
Mini Beach Ball - Buy 12 for $6.99 (these are not the exact balls, but very similar!)
I thought that last month’s beach ball was small, but this one is even smaller! How fun!
Paper Fish - Buy 6 for $4.99
Pineapple - Retail Value $1.99
I’m not sure if I found the exact pineapple, but I love how perfect these decorations were for the theme. I especially love how the pineapple opens up so large- it’s a great little accent for our photos!
Paper Umbrella
I couldn’t find this exact umbrella online and it was really hard to find a similar umbrella, so I didn’t feel comfortable estimating a value since I literally had nothing to go on! I could not get over how cute it was though! It opens up just like the mini cocktail umbrellas, but this is much larger. It’s pretty sturdy too. This makes a great baby beach umbrella for our scene!
Baby Sunglasses - Estimated Value $5.00 (I felt pretty comfortable with this estimate based on what most retailers sell children’s sunglasses for and with my own experience purchasing them for my kids in the past!)
Every baby needs a fresh pair of shades when they hit the beach! These didn’t have any branding on them whatsoever, but they were tiny enough to fit his little head and the green is a great color for him!
Carter’s Striped Swim Trunks - MSRP $24.00 (found here for 12.00)
I love that they sent us Carter’s brand swim trunks - they always have the cutest stuff and these were no exception. I liked that they went with a striped pattern instead of one of their prints and I think the pocket detail on the back is adorable! They only come in size 3 months and up, but since these had a drawstring front I was able to tighten them to get a good fit!
Before I get the baby, I make sure that everything is set up the way that I want it. I tried to place things inward on the blanket a bit because last time I had some issues with the edges of the blanket I lay underneath showing and having to crop out some of the items. This time I think I did a little bit of a better job, but I’m starting to think that this blanket just isn’t that big. It will probably be a lot easier when baby is sitting up though and doesn’t take up as much room on the blanket!
This probably seemed like quite an obvious theme for summer, but the way that they approached it was fantastic! They included so many fun details for the picture and made sure that we had a great outfit that we will actually be able to get a lot of use out of this summer! I think my little guy did a great job for his 2-month photo shoot and I even had him laughing a bit at one point. I did reuse the red ring from our Circus photoshoot to mark the month this time, although I think they showed using the handles of the tote bag.
Verdict: I really loved our Baby Booth Box this month! They included SO many items and everything was perfect for the beach bum theme! I like to do something to capture each month with my kids during their first year and I love that this forces me to set aside that time and do something unique and creative to capture his growth! It goes by so very fast and I think it will be really fun to look back on these when he is older. I feel like a lot of thought goes into these boxes and that they really don’t hold back when it comes to including any and every detail they can think of to make it a complete photo shoot. If you did want to do a more minimal shoot, you could easily take out some of the smaller items and still capture that beach theme with your babe!
As for value, I estimate about $38 worth of value in all of the items we received and the box cost us $29.98/month ($24.99 plus $4.99 shipping). I think that is a great value for such a fun curation that was conveniently shipped to our door! Plus, this month we received a lot of items we can actually use outside of the shoot, like the swimsuit and sunglasses and a few cute toys for later. I had a lot of fun with this theme and I was definitely satisfied with our photos!
