AromaBox June 2018 Review

This month’s theme is “The Communicator”. It’s all about getting you into that space in which you do your best communicating – relaxed but focussed. Nice!

The information sheet from Herb Stop is really impressive. There’s a lot of knowledge packed in here! Every oil they sent is matched with three different usage tips. That’s really helpful! Plus on the reverse side, there is a recipe for a “No Adulting Today!” blend! Fun!

I also wanted to point out that their information sheet contains important safety information under each oil. It’s definitely great info to have on hand.

Caraway, 1/6 oz – Buy 1/2 fl oz. for $4.85

You know when you dine at an Indian restaurant and when you go to pay or pass the hostess station, there’s a little basket of seeds with licorice jimmies in it? Smelling this, I realized that those seeds are caraway seeds, haha! It is good for a variety of physical ailments, mainly those occurring in and around the intestines, including cramps. It also aids in communication by increasing your listening and comprehension skills.

Lemon Verbena, 1/6 oz – Retail Value $34.30

Yep! Smells like lemon! It’s a little sweeter, though. It has an uplifting effect, and it helps to alleviate depression and anxiety. I really love it that Herb Stop always seems to include at least one really precious oil, too!

Peppermint, 1/6 oz – Buy 1/2 fl oz. for $11.70

Peppermint essential oil smells exactly like you would expect, which I think is a nice scent that can easily be overwhelming. It’s well known as a digestive aid, but it’s included in this month’s box as it alleviates confusion, poor memory, and indecision.

The Communicator Roll-On Essential Oil Blend – Retail Value $16.95

I know this is going to sound weird, but this scent reminds me of my grandmother’s kitchen! Her kitchen did not smell of baked goods like some grandmothers, it smelled of exotic herbs and fresh vegetables that she grew in her yard and garden. So, I love this scent because it reminds me of her. It is relaxing. It’s a blend of clary sage, cedarwood, lavender, bergamot, vetivert, and jojoba.

The Verdict: I am consistently impressed with the Aroma Box by Herb Stop. I am getting such a massive education on natural health and wellness through this subscription! The oils are top quality and purity. The curation is also spot on and always perfectly suited to the month. The value is also always consistently high. I am a big fan!

  1. I’m just giving a “just in case” head’s up. I ordered essential oils and signed up for the subscription box and a little over 24 hours later somebody used my debit/Mastercard fraudulently. I haven’t used my card for any other online purchases and I never use it at gas pumps. The fraud department with my bank said that typically charges occur within a day or two of a card being compromised. I sent an email to the company – not to accuse at all – letting them know just in case there’s a breach in their security settings or in case they have a crooked employee.

  2. Highly recommended! They are reliable & responsive, the info sheet is fun & informative, products are high-quality & sometimes unusual. Great special sales occasionally too!

    • Agreed! Thanks jaq!

  3. That Lemon Verbena sounds divine.

  4. I’m slowing submerging into the world of essential oils and so far I really like it.

With that in mind, and the way my life is going at this time, it’s time to subscribe to this.
