And they just ruined what was on track to be an incredibly awesome box with a bs blue eyeliner. No, no, no, no, no. Thanks a lot. Honestly, I’ll be happy to get the other items but will be eager to get that eyeliner out of my house ASAP!

YAY all the people without creativity will leave the box to us that can actually rock it. Stick to your neutrals, you seem to need the safety.

Are you referring to the people that know better than to wear tacky blue eyeliner? If that is the case I will wear the title non creative proudly and look better doing it.

the links aren’t working, is there a reason for that?

Some readers have told us they have to remove their ad blockers for the Allure links to work. Hope that helps!

Most the links don’t work on MSA from my work computer. I have to Google it. I am sure it’s their internet security.

I know many people are unhappy with always getting black eyeliner. (I know you can’t please everyone. Many people also love getting new black eyeliner as it’s their go-to.) Personally, I think it’s a positive to shake it up and get the blue pencil. Not saying i’d want blue in every box, but a one-off like this, sure why not?
And I think you can still use blue and avoid the 80s flashbacks : )

Yes! I love this box! I especially love the eyeliner is that beautiful blue and not a boring black or brown!

I think I am going to cancel Cult Crushes and join Allure. THIS is what a box in this price bracket should look like!!!

YAY a blue eye liner I could careless if it isn’t the greatest company for an eye liner just happy it is a color other than black.
Blonde hair ,blue eyes and fair skin black is too harsh and makes me look older and that is the negative so I never have nor ever will wear black.
I haven’t gotten June yet and would not be surprised if July sells out with these great spoilers .
I know now I made the right choice when I dropped Glossybox for Allure wish I could afford both plus Boxycharm but 1 had to go.
These subs are the bomb for women who love make-up and have a small budget every month for it.

I’m new to getting sub boxes and I’m trying to decide which are worth it. I’m curious with Allure if you could buy month to month and use the $5 coupon every month?
Reply
Misti
I highly doubt you could have to use new emails .address and different names
Reply
Sihara
You can. There seems to be some sort of glitch where I have been getting charged the introductory price ($10) every month since
Reply
Clarissa
Sihara, do you do sub month to month or buy a couple months at a time? The July box looks great but I don’t want to get my hopes up and get makeup that makes me look like I woke from the dead. Lol.
sara
It would play havoc with when you get your box. Starting and stopping subs is not Allure’s strong point. Also, they keep track of addresses and who is a new subscriber. I tried picking and choosing which months I wanted and canceling and resubbing, and found it really wasn’t worth the $5 off due to problems it created. To me, Allure is consistently a performer, so I decided it’s worth it to let it ride and stay a subscriber. Also, there are monthly variations sometimes based on when you order the box based on how many they sell. If you want what’s in the spoiler, you might not get it by the time your new sub request goes through. Like I said, I just found it was a hassle to go back and forth. But I wish you luck whatever you choose to do!

Praying this one doesn’t sell out like others have before, Ill be resubing for this for sure! Really excited for everything. Even the blue eye shadow despite not being able to wear blue, just so sick of only ever getting black. I hope like others have said, that its a navy and not a light blue.

I haven’t even received my June box yet and already can’t wait for July. June will be my first box from allure . I have boxychaem and ipsy , but put ipsy on pause to give this sub a try. From reading previous months it seems like this $15 sub tends to give out a good amount of full size products from time to time. I just might cancel ipsy all together.
And a blue eye liner ?!?! Heck yea…..better then all the black ones

I have got a Lancome blue eyeliner in Sephora’s play box, and still in my bag….but I am so excited to get luna oil!

Thanks to Allure, my niece never has to buy eyeliner. Hopefully it will be blue.

Blue eyeliner looks like fun! I don’t love the brand, but I haven’t tried liner from them.

The mascara is okay, the shadows I’ve gotten are very shiny.
But blue is cool. Beats getting another black one.

An eyeliner from Doucce costs $22??? LOL, no…just no. MannaKadar and Bellaperrie come to mind, all garbage brands with ridiculously inflated retail value. I hate seeing these 3 brands brands in sub boxes, but Allure has been great for me for some time now so I’m not mad lol. Otherwise, the rest of the box looks great…

Wow! I have to say that none of my sub boxes have disappointed me this summer. Even my two Ipsy bags are all products I’m happy to receive. The Allure spoilers all look great, and I’m pleased to see they appear to be listening to their subscribers. This has been a great box for me so far, and I cannot wait to see what else is in store for us.

I’m loving this box. And the blue eyeliner is so exciting!! It’s like Allure is listening to all of us who love eyeliner but get tired of black. This blue will go perfect with the palette coming in Boxycharm this month.

No kidding. My Boxy should be showing up by the end of the week.
But I also have a batch of Urban Decay liners that should work in the meantime.

If you sub through Amazon, do you still get the same items that are shown here?

I have read comments about people having gotten a 2 year old box a few months ago instead of the MSA-revealed box. I don’t think I have read other comments about that being a consistent issue. If it’s worth it for you to have the occasional hiccup such as that, I have read much more comments about how easy it is to cancel.

This month the Amazon box was version 1. It is usually very similar to the early spoilers on MSA. Last month Amazon subscribers received a folding hairbrush instead of the tiny scrap of makeup eraser. One month was completely different when a foundation was included through allure.

Wow, I didn’t even know you could sub through Amazon. TIL!

Hi Jen, I have subbed through Amazon off and on for 2 years and I always get the same items MSA gets. It is so much easier to sub and cancel than going directly through Allure. It does ship from Allure, Amazon is just the middle man I guess. HTH

I subscribed through Amazon yesterday to get the Kat von D box, because I am Canadian and can’t subscribe through Allure directly anyway. I am a bit scared having read the reviews – lots of people complain they got old boxes, not the corresponding month ones, missing items, etc…
Akabela
As a woman of color the blue eye liner does enhance my brown skin tone. The brand I don’t care for but I’m glad it’s not another black eye liner.

I only subbed to get KVD for June, but am debating canceling my Ricky’s and getting July’s too. Ricky’s was soooo underwhelming this month, and this looks great…
Choices, choices.

I’m feeling your pain, I too subbed for KVD. And now I just looked at this and thought wow for a $1 more…. I was going to give Ricky’s a 3 month trial after increase before I quit them but now i’m not so sure….Allure seems to be hitting it out of the park.

Rachael
I just canceled Rickys. After last month you would think they would have tried a little harder…maybe I’ll try again in a few months but this box looks great!

Blue eyeliner. I’d rather not relive the 80’s. I can’t even give that away. At least I have the other stuff to look forward to.

The blue eyeliner is a trend I’d rather not relive either. I don’t know why my comment won’t post. I guess you can talk about anti vax and misogyny on these threads but goodness forbid you say that you agree with the poster about the eighties. You know what I think Mom jeans are terrible too how about that MSA?

Yeah I don’t understand all this eighties crap either. So funny as an eighties kid I remember my mom wearing blue eyeliner all the time. I think the mom jeans and drag Makeup are horrible trends.

I agree. Don’t forget the big bangs frozen i place with Aqua Net. Oh and high top shoes. OMG I’m dying. Flashbacks compliments of blue eyeliner.
Anna
I actually have blue eyeliner that I use. I’m sure someone would take it. I like to put together makeup like the eyeliners and shadows and make kits to donate to young women that don’t have the luxury of boxes full of makeup. You can also donate new items to local agencies that help with job placement too.

Blue eyeliner is THE go to for brown eyes. I use it constantly. Looks great. If you are looking to give your “80’s” blue eyeliner away I will gladly take it AND rock it.
Michelle
I use blue eyeliner as well, blue eyes and cool tones. What color do the anti-blue gals use? I wouldn’t consider using black eyeliner, and have way too many of those!
Jen
I’m actually really excited about this whole box… including the pencil. I recently bought a blue bikini and I think this will be fun to wear with it.

I don’t use eyeliner, however this will be very much appreciated by a family member. The July box is shaping up to be another awesome box. Allure is really doing a great job at curating their boxes.

The rest of the box makes up for the Doucce 😆

Nicole: why don’t you like Doucce? I have found their products (especially the shadows) are great! Creamy, highly pigmented and long lasting. What’s not to like?

Cindy
I don’t even mind and eyeliner so much as I’ll get to it eventually but blue? LOL

I hope it isn’t the bright blue shown on the base of the pencil. The picture looks like navy, which might be a nice change.
