  1. Wow. Still waiting on my spring box from 2018….customer service won’t respond. Can’t believe I bought a fall box too. I’m glad some people are getting a box they love but don’t understand why a company has customer service that doesn’t help anyone

    • I still have yet to receive my 2 boxes they owe me as well. At this point if they have no intention of sending them they should just credit back our method of payment. Customer service has been zero help at all.

    • I have been corresponding for months with customer service, and they kept promising a shipment. I finally faced reality and asked for resolution through PayPal so that I could apply within the 180 day limit. PayPal reached out to 5th Avenue style and received no response so I received a full refund.

      It is disappointing as they provided such amazing boxes in the past!

      • Soo anyone have any final issues with this? I see the box is now cancelled!!

        • And the website is down and the last Facebook post was in 2018. If anyone hasn’t tried to get their money back, I wonder if they will ever see it. I think these people are gone.

  2. Well, posting here in the hopes that I might get a customer service reply from 5th Avenue. Sent back 2 items for exchange from my spring box and really, really hoping to hear back. The bag is a beauty, though!

    • I filed a PayPal claim for the fall box, and they refunded my money. Apparently Pay Pal couldn’t get a straight answer out of them either.

      • I got my money back from Paypal too.

  3. Received my Spring box last week – 10 months after placing order. I love every item. Now it’s time to email frequently about the Summer box. I haven’t been able to think about this Autumn box.

    • I got my money back! I filed a claim with PayPal, who contacted 5th Avenue Style 3 times and did not receive a reply, so PayPal gave me a refund today.

  4. Anyone have a shipping update on this box? From reading prior reviews, I assumed the promised week of September 24 was unlikely, but I was hoping for delivery prior to Christmas. I need a new handbag, and I’m hoping To get this one soon.

  5. Still waiting on Summer Bag. Purchased in March. So, don’t plan on getting this until next year, or you will be REALLY disappointed!

    They have been good at emailing me back recently. But, it wasn’t until I emailed them after waiting for so long, and constant emailing them. They didn’t contact me to let them know about the bags not in.

  6. It’s October…no shipping notification yet! Any updates?

    • I ordered mine in July. I emailed last week and was told they were waiting to receive an item for my box. You’d think they would order ahead and have everything in house by the stated shipping date. I was thinking of subscribing but will not.

      • I emailed them again over a week ago and still do not have a reply. Probably no point in asking for my money back so I guess I will write this off. Terrible customer service! Beware of this one!!

        • Has anyone noticed they have a Holiday Box now which supposedly started shipping a few days ago? Where’s my Autumn box (purchased in July)???? Still nothing from customer service.

  7. Ordered Spring Box early this year- have had a few of my emails returned- now we are at 6 months – and no box? Is there anything MSA can do- we get ignored and have spent our money for nothing! I have heard– waiting for bags form Europe for 4 months- guessing they are going our of business- anyone who pays for a box from this company- BEWARE!!!!!

    I understand more than anybody about how long it takes to get our orders from 5th Avenue.
    I really hope they fix their delay issue ,however I gotta say:Oh my gosh!!!I love my box!!
    Have some patience girls because at least to me it was so worth it!
    I got a gorgeous Coach bag ,plus jewelry.

    Really sad with the end of the forums because ,the girls were waiting to see my box,so if anyone is reading from the forum I can dm you!

  9. Add me to the list of women who have placed orders only to be ignored for months by CS.
    Order #18440 placed 25 Jan and Order #19683 placed 26 March; no response to inquiries. I’m starting to wonder if all of the positive reviews on here are actually written by their “customer service” team?
    A quick email letting customers know why their box is held up and when they are expected to ship would go a long way… And not the cut an paste half sentence “waiting for item from Europe”… so ambiguous.

    • I am pretty concerned about what is happening with this company and/or box. I placed an order quite awhile ago and have had no communication. I just called the number and was told by the guy who answered (saying “hello?”) that I had the wrong number. It was definitely the number on the screen from the website. I’m a little concerned that the company is out of business. I would warn anyone against ordering from them at this point which is too bad because they seem to have had some pretty nice stuff in the past.

  11. While I would love to subscribe, two things are really turning me off. I’m seeing a lot of delivery lag…like, months. Also, I really don’t like company representatives coming on these posts. It seems as though they need to work on their customer service directly with the customer, not on MSA. While the responses are polite enough, it’s just off putting for some reason. I didn’t like it with BOS either. I hope your situation is resolved Rosemary. Sounds awful.

      We would be happy to resolve whatever the case might be with Rosemary but we couldn’t identify it. We checked our records for more than 12 months and can not find anything similar to what she describes.
      We make mistakes but always strive to accommodate our clients and keep them happy.

  14. Hold please. Can someone talk me through this? I responded with my choice of bag and color from the first spoiler. If we like this one better, we say ignore that, I’d like this? Seems like an odd way to do things. If there will be spoilers and options, why not put it all out there at once? Am I missing something?

    Also, is there any way to add color descriptors to the swatches? That seems to be a common question and an easy fix. It would certainly help me make a choice.

      Usually, we give one week window to choose a particular bag spoiler. If after choosing one spoiler, you also like and prefer another one, you can select it and make a comment in the Notes section. We will try to accommodate your request if possible.

    • No, you get 1 bag. You choose 1 from the spoilers, and get that one. You can choose several, but will usually get the last 1 chosen, or 1 of any that you chose.

  17. I cant decide between the Dr. Apple and the Galore. Anyone have one of the two that can send pictures or recommend?

    • Leah, thanks for asking that. I have the exact same question. After seeing those bags advertised multiple times, and always drooling over them, I think my willpower has finally broken and I’m going to go for one. But which one? Augh. Decisions, decisions!!

  20. I chose the Volpe bag in the Spring box I ordered in January but have not yet received. Do these bags normally take this long?

    • Oh no. I ordered the Summer box for my sister as a birthday gift for her bday in August. Sounds like I may not receive it in time :-/ makes me worried. I hope you get your box and bag soon!

    • I ordered the spring box with the same (or similar) bag options on February 21, and did not receive until June. I was hoping the box contents would be amazing in addition to the bag, but other than the bag there was some inexpensive, underwhelming jewelry. After reaching out to customer service three different times, they responded to a voicemail and added an “extra gift” to my box for the delay which was one of the pieces of jewelry. I do not think the experience was worth the $210 spent. If you LOVE the purse options, it’s like getting the jewelry for free, but I was hoping for a balance of items I wanted.

        I have wanted to purchase your product multiple times after you displayed the WORST and most DISRESPECTFUL customer service shenanigans that I have EVER experienced in my almost-50 years of life (I continue to use your company as my training example of “How to totally fail in customer service”).
        I would like to suggest that you do not reply to anyone on this website, as your company has proved that you have no respect for you current customers (as I was).
        I do like some of the featured items from your subscription offerings, but I don’t want to do any business with a company that treats their customers with disdain and utter contempt.

            When I contacted your company about a faulty item that I received, you accused me (here on this website of stealing from you). All I wanted was to communicate with your company and return the rubbish that you sent me (which I eventually did). But your company decided to accuse me of being dishonest in public. I train people in customer service, and your company is THE WORST I have ever experienced. I highly recommend that your department shouldn’t allow any one of it’s members to discuss anything in the public arena, as you have proven that you have (possibly) unstable people working for you. I can’t trust your company, and I don’t want anyone to be the subject of your terrible policies.

          • I also applaud companies like Julep for their exemplary customer service. I am not a nasty internet troll…I was simply appalled by the manner that your company chose to treat its clients.

      I would not recommend that you do business with this company. If anything goes awry (on their end) they have no hesitation about accusing you of dishonesty HERE on the MSA site. I use my horrendous experience with 5th Avenue Style when I train customer service reps on “what never to do”…EVER. The stress of dealing with this company if something goes wrong is just not worth it.

        • I’ve had several puchases from 5th Avenue and loved each every one! My Lancaster bag is one of my faviorites! Granted, I have not had any issues with product. BUT I have to be honest, I’m sure I bothered the heck out of customer service ( I think it was theowner or peson in charge) with a thousand different questions over the last 6 months or so. LOL And each and every time she was perfect to me and not pushy or curt or anything but friendly and informative. I have received responses in as little as ten minutes on a Sunday night!!! I love Julep, their CS is tops but I doubt I’d get a response to a question about a product and not even a purchase on a sunday night. lol

          ***Rosemary- I have no idea what happened with your case, it;s actually kinda shocking. I wish we still had the forum so all the facts could be out. I hope you got a satisfactory result at least in the end. 🙁
