  1. Today is Jan 31, 2019, and I received my disappointing Mystery box that I ordered in MAY. Wow. No Evacatouer (sp!) cuff! A very cheap feeling black PLASTIC necklace and matching bracelet, with one link that is gold toned metal, scratched. A cheap gold-plated “love” necklace that looks like a woman holding a baby in a heart, an “ornate cabochon gemstone ring” that is this side of ugly, a multi colored scarf that is okay, and two blue agate coasters edged with silver that are pretty. The “gift” for waiting 7 months was a gold ring that wraps and the facing ends have CZ, but they face out, not up. Wow. #worstboxever #$270lesson. I’m not even going to talk about how often I was told I would get a tracking #, or how they kept claiming that I wasn’t getting their emails. Seriously. HomeGoods has better stuff.

  2. Has anyone received their box from them? I am going to contact my credit card company to open a claim.

    • Have you had any luck? I just put a claim in with my credit card comp today.

      • I was too late for the credit card company or paypal. So very disappointed.

To anyone who has ordered from them and has not heard back from them yet, I opened a claim with Paypal despite my order probably being a bit on the older side, after not hearing from them since June with a vague “your items will ship soon” email, and received a response from them within an hour stating it will be shipped in the next 5-7 business days. I’ll keep you all posted if they don’t follow through (I’ll give them the 7 business days to do so) but I am happy to have finally heard from them! I splurged on this months ago when I probably should’ve saved my money, but fingers crossed that my $200+ purchase is not floating around in a void forever.

    I’m not sure if anyone is still posting on this wondering where their box is, but maybe this will help someone out!

  4. I’m having the same problem as some of you above…I ordered the mystery bestsellers box and haven’t heard a thing. Customer service isn’t picking up the phone or answering my email about shipping. Is this box a scam or is it actually going to ship to me?

    • Guys, I have not received this box….I have not received any tracking, even though I was told a week ago it was shipping…has anyone received this box or any tracking? Should I do a charge back? Has this box ever materialized for anyone?

    • After not receiving my box I called the customer service number yet again and a guy answered the line and told me I had the wrong number. Not a great sign for this box….I would caution anyone against purchasing this box as I’m pretty sure I just lost $270….

    • I have called and sent emails on one occasions i was told someone would get back to me and nothing…so disappointed!!!

  5. The SPRING BOX was to ship in March it is now August. Was promised that box would ship last week. Did not happen. Sent a long note saying what a great value I am getting? Is it a great value when you wait so long for the merchandise? No idea how they stay in business. Pretty disgusted!

  6. @liz. There are a lot of people stating they are not getting any responses to their emails to 5th Avenue Style. Can you confirm whether or not they are still in business?

    • I have gotten a response from them when I call their #800. You can find the number on their website if you scroll all the way to the bottom and click Contact Us link from the main page. Leave a message with your order number. They typically do not answer, but should email you with a response. I have found this an effective way for them to answer me. It is frustrating how long the boxes take. I am still waiting on my Spring Box. I do love the bags they get and know they are importing them, so I am willing to be patient.

      • I just called their 800 number and got an answering machine that didn’t even have an outgoing message…getting a little concerned about this box.

  7. I have not gotten any reply to my repeated email inquiries for two months now. It looks like they are still in business since they keep coming up with new boxes. Is MSA the new customer service platform for 5th Avenue??

    • I received an email on June 28th that my summer box that I ordered for my sister would ship within about a week. It’s obviously later than a week now. Sent another email asking when the boxes would ship. I only purchased this box because it said shipping would be June 18th. Now I am really worried the box will not arrive in time for my sisters birthday in August 11 (although the cs rep who emailed me assured me it would arrive in time).

  8. I have a Wave cuff; it’s gorgeous. Just ordered this box and asked 5th Ave if they can send me a matching Evocateur item. Hope they can do it.

  9. Has 5th Avenue started shipping the Summer boxes yet? I ordered two, and at the time of ordering, I was Informed the boxes would begin shipping the week of 6/18/2018. I recall that 5th Avenue made an announcement that they have changed their practices to ensure more timely shipping. Is that still the case?

  11. This post contains coupon codes that appear expired? I assume they still work…could this be clarified please? The expiration would help my conderation/budgeting…..

    Also, can you pls clear up the “shipping by” date? I thought a previous post listed July 3, now it’s July 31st.

    Any chance on getting a disclosure on how many handbag spoilers there might be? I’ve seen so many I love in past boxes; but so far I’m not biting on this one….

      Both coupons codes work for this Mystery Bestsellers Encore Box and expire on Thursday, July 5th. The shipping for this box is by July 31st.
      There might be bag spoilers for this box, but please note that it’s a Mystery Box and we might just mention brand names without other specifics to keep the “mystery” going.

  13. I was also confused about the boxes. My first box will be the summer box and also ordered the first mystery box. After reading the comments I can hardly wait as so many love their 5th Avenue boxes but want to see the personalization of my first box before purchasing any others.

  14. Im a little confused. There was a mystery bestsellers box and a mystery bestsellers encore box and they are different right? So there are two spoilers out for the encore but not the original? I got the original and Im trying to figure out which surveys apply to me.

      You are correct, these are different boxes.
      It’s a second spoiler for the Mystery Bestsellers Encore Box.
      The first spoiler for the Encore Box was Skincode (Anti-Aging Swiss Skincare.)

        I sent an email to the 5th Avenue style team asking when I can expect to receive a tracking number for my spring box, but have not heard a response. I know my order was ready to be shipped about two weeks ago per a note added to my order, but would like to follow up as I have not heard anything since.

        Greetings. A cs rep sent me an email on 6/28 stating my summer box would ship within about a week. I still have not received a shipping notice for it. Will it be shipping this week? Thank you! It is a present for my sister for her birthday in August.
