Vine Oh! is a brand new wine + lifestyle items quarterly subscription box. Each quarter, you'll receive two bottles of wine, plus lifestyle gift items.

This is a review of the VineOh! "Oh! Treat Me!" Box, which will be your first box if you order now!

(Note: A previous version of this review published earlier today included an incorrect item and an omitted item– this review has been updated for accuracy.)

This box is actually two boxes in one! The box-within-a-box holds a bunch of awesome luxury items. Take that box out, and you'll find the two bottles of wine safely packaged in specially designed cardboard caddies!

VineOh! Spring 2018 Welcome Box Review

We got our box early in order to review it. Because of that, there weren't any formal info cards in the box. However, subscribers can expect colorful info cards like the one above!

vine oh! essential oil

vine oh! body oil

Pangea Organics Body Oil, 4 fl. oz. - Retail Value $30.00

This lightweight body oil smells fantastic—it has sort of a light, floral lavender aroma. It soaks in easily and left my skin feeling velvety soft and nourished.

vine oh! black leather wallet

vine oh! black leather coin pouch

vine oh! black zippered pouch

vine oh! kiko info card

vine oh! kiko wallet info card

Kiko Leather Slim Card Pocket - Listed Value $28.00

I couldn't find this style on the Kiko website. It's made of smooth black leather and measures about 4.25" x 3". It's pretty flat, but there is a little accordion fold on the one side of the zippered pocket so that coins or chunky stacks of cards have room to move around in there. There's also a small outer pocket (probably big enough for things like tickets or little notes) and an itty bitty loop that you can use to attach the wallet to your keychain. It's a little small for my tastes, but the quality is super nice.

vine oh! polka dotted mousepad

vine oh! mousepad

vine oh! bottom of mousepad

Mary Square Polka Dot Mouse Pad - Retail Value $12.50, Listed Value $12.00

I like the classic design of this polka-dotted mousepad! The dots are just barely metallic, but they're very cute and pop against the white background. My only concern with this cushy mouse pad is whether it'll eventually get kind of dingy since it's white. Fingers crossed it stays looking fresh and crisp!

vine oh! wine shaped chocolate

vine oh! semi sweet chocolate wine glass

vine oh! wine glass chocolate on its side

vine oh! chocolate ingredients

Annedore's Wine Glass Chocolate - Listed Value $3.00

This semi-sweet chocolate is shaped like a champagne flute. How chic! It's smooth, tasty, and not so thick at any point that it's difficult to break off bits to snack on. I'm happy to have it tucked in my office desk drawer for when I need a mid-afternoon lift!

vine oh! sunglasses sleeve

vine oh! mint sunglasses sleeve

vine oh! sunglasses in pouch

vine oh! mary square mint green pouch

vine oh! opening in green sunglasses pouch

Mary Square Glasses Pouch - Retail Value $13.75, Listed Value $13.00

I was a little bummed that this glasses pouch didn't come with any sunglasses inside! I mean, I do have plenty of pairs of sunglasses that I can use this pouch for, but something about getting just the pouch felt a little incomplete. The pouch is pretty nice, though. The vegan faux leather exterior is on the stiffer side, so it's protective, and the inside is lined with golden yellow silky fabric.

Mary Square Choker Necklace in Black - Retail Value $23.75, Listed Value $24.00

Of all the chokers I've seen people wear, this is definitely the most sophisticated! It's a 15" necklace that lays neatly along my collarbone. So, it's not the kind of choker that hugs your neck too tightly—rather, it sits so that the 1.25" circular charm lays flat right about where a shirt collar might button on me. The pearls are a little traditional for my tastes, but I feel like this is a quality enough piece that I could easily gift it to someone!

2016 California Mad Love Zinfandel - Retail Value $25.99

This red is one of VineOh!'s new flavors of wine! I found it spicy and bold—perfect for a casual date night or a cozy dinner party. The experts describe that it has "aromas of cherry cola, blackberry, baking spice, and cocoa and flavors of raspberry jam, chocolate cake, black tea". Yum!

2016 California New Crush Pinot Grigio - Retail Value $20.99

The second wine I got was this deeeelicious pinot grigio. It tastes as satisfying as a sweet treat, but with way more grown-up elegance. The wine has a sweet, fresh, fruitiness about it, plus a mineral pop that makes me feel like I'm sipping it on a Southern California shoreline. The website describes the wine as having "aromas of white peaches and white flowers, sea spray, oyster shell and flavors ranging from casaba melon to citrus zest with a hint of Creme Fraiche in the finish."

The Verdict: While the value as usual is great, I feel so-so about this box, simply because the bigger ticket items aren't totally my personal taste. The wallet was really lovely quality-wise, but a smidge too small to justify replacing my current one. The necklace wasn't exactly my style, but I will say I was thrilled with the body oil! And of course, the wines were delish. The box is $59.99 and we received $157.98 worth of products, meaning each item (including the wines) cost me an average of $7.50. So it’s still a pretty good deal, in my opinion.

What a cute box! If only I didn’t have to have wine signed for when shipped to me I would love to get this sub.

Cortney

So are there two different spring boxes? The one I received was “Oh! Happy Day” but this one says it’s the spring “Oh! Treat Me”. Was there an option to choose?

This sub makes me wish I drank wine more often. It is so cute. Almost wish they had a wine free version. TBC, I drink and have no problem with drinking, I’m just too old to drink much anymore. 😂
