Nadine West Plus Subscription Review + Coupon – May 2018
Nadine West is a subscription styling service for women sizes small to 3X. Subscribers fill out a style quiz and are sent an outfit every month based on their style preferences. The best part is that there’s no styling fee—just a small shipping fee that is credited toward the cost of anything you keep.
This package was sent to us at no cost to review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).
About Nadine West
The Subscription Box: Nadine West
The Cost: $9.78 is charged to your account when your package ships (to cover shipping) and that amount is put towards the cost of the items you keep. If you return everything, however, that amount is not refunded.
COUPON: Use referral code NADINE to waive shipping fees on your first box! That means you can get your first box totally risk-free, with no styling fee and no shipping fee (normally $9.78). You’ll pay only for items you decide to keep!
IMPORTANT NOTE: A while back, several readers expressed concern over the shipping charge of $9.78. Please note that this is a recent increase! However, existing subscribers keep their previous rate, which I think was $6.50.
The Products: Each pink package will include 2-4 items. Typical combos include a shirt or scarf and a couple pieces of jewelry and other accessories.

Nadine West Plus Clothing May 2018 Review
This is the invoice that was sent with my package. The return date is listed on the invoice.
Tree Lights Necklace – Cost to Keep $24.99
Look how pretty this necklace is! I like trees on my jewelry, in general, and I think the little garnet colored stones add just the right pop of color to make it interesting. It’s also a great long length, my favorite! I am wearing it in the picture below with the dress.
Foiled Elegance Earrings – Cost to Keep $13.99
These earrings are so shiny! They are also a good size for summer. I like to wear bigger earrings in summer because I wear my hair up more often. They are big, but they are very thin and very lightweight, which is nice. Very pretty overall!
No Frills for Me Shorts – Cost to Keep $21.99
These lacey shorts are so fancy! They also seem to be well made. They are a wee bit small, though, and I am not really a short shorts kind of girl anyway. I also don’t think I would ever wear flesh-colored shorts. However, these would really look amazing on someone with darker, pretty legs!
Across My Heart Top – Cost to Keep $25.49
This lightweight cotton knit top is such a gorgeous color! I like the straps crossed in front also, it makes the style a bit unique. It’s a bit long for me, but I think it’s just the right length for some fun printed leggings. I like it!
Gena Dress – Cost to Keep $29.99
This dress is so cute! The print is a little old-fashioned for my tastes, but the straps across the front give it a bit of a modern twist. It’s a cotton knit shift dress, and it feels nice and light for summer. I also appreaciate the roominess of a shift dress in the summer, it’s a lot breezier than other cuts.
Lauren Top – Cost to Keep $24.49
I could have sworn this was called the Yanny top, Haha! This is the only piece I received this month that I don’t really like. I actually really like the straps and the overall cut of the top! I’m not in love with the color, but that’s not really a problem. This shirt has two odd problems though. For one, the cotton knit is very, very thin, and pretty much everything underneath can be seen. The other thing is that there’s a plastic hanger strap that is visible, and it can’t be tucked anywhere to make it not show or come out. Believe me, I tried! It’s not too big a deal, I could always just cut them out, but it seems like a kind of poorly thought-out design.
The Verdict: I love Nadine West! There were a couple of misses, but overall this was a great month! I really like the burgundy tee, that was my favorite. I think if you want to treat yourself to a styling service on a budget, Nadine West is the way to go! Their pieces are not always the highest quality, but they are consistently the least expensive.
