Bluum March 2018 Review
My son, Fox, is 2, very active, and loves discovering new toys! We both have been loving our Bluum boxes! Let's see what we received this month:
Silimap Folding Silicone Placemat - Retail Value $14.95
We have a few of these silicone placemats already, but it never hurts to add one more to our collection. My son still sits in his highchair, but we are going to be moving him to a booster at the table soon. So these will be used a lot more once we have him at the table with us. I love that this is a map print! Fox already has a puzzle map that he loves so this will allow us to go over the states with him during mealtime as well.
Make My Day Silicone Magnetic Spoon + Fork - Retail Value $14.99
This utensil set snaps together with a magnet for easy storage and for travel. Honestly, we don't travel that often so we don't have a huge need for something like this. However, we are going to the beach this summer so I will test the importance of having a magnet for utensils when traveling then. For now, my son is using these for his meals, you can never have too many forks and spoons plus I love the color of these!
BubaBloon - Retail Value $9
This is a balloon cover that allows your little one to play with a pillow while reducing the risk of popping. We rarely buy plain balloons, usually those big decorative ones that are a crazy shape on special occasions. So, honestly, we don't really have a need for this. It is washable and reusable which is great for someone that uses balloons for their little ones frequently.
Hatch Things Sureshop Bag - Estimated Value $19.95
This reusable bag is meant to attach to your stroller to use when shopping or to carry any extras you might have. It says it is recommended for umbrella strollers, while we don't have one of those, it fits nicely on our larger stroller. My diaper bag is pretty big so I don't need extra storage most days. However, I think this would be great to use at the beach, pool, or for when we go to the farmer's market.
Verdict: This month's Bluum box was not really filled with many toys or fun items for my son to use. He helped me open the box and then quickly moved onto something else when he realized there wasn't anything he could really play with. I always enjoy and appreciate receiving kitchen items like the utensil set or the reusable bag, but a lot of the items were things that I really don't need right now or are things I already have a good amount of. The overall retail value is great though this month with $58.89 worth of products! Hopefully, next month's box will have a bit more items that are a mix of things for me to use for him and toys for him to enjoy!
