I tried to use this trick to find out what I was getting this month but it turned out really weirdly for me. When I first checked “all samples” a week ago it listed 6 things I really wanted. Then today I checked again and those things had disappeared and were replaced by 5 things I really don’t want. Has this happened to anyone else, where it switched samples before sending the box?

I canceled – and so glad I did. I’ve only received a few boxes and was never really happy with the contents. I wouldn’t have liked any of these boxes. I’m feeling the same way about Allure – but still sticking with Macy’s and Sephora Play – I still seem to like trying wheat they send.

I’m so agitated right now. I cancelled, but this morning I received a shipping confirmation. I cancelled in April, when our choices were up and I saw that, yet again, I wasn’t interested in anything. That $10.75 would have been better used any place else.

I am so excited to get Sunday Riley CEO!! I have been jealous of all the posts about it and now I’m finally getting one! Last month I got a perfume that I was diying to try Juliette has a gun and I’m loving it will probably buy the full size! Very very happy with this sub, whoo hoo!!

I don’t remember getting 8 products before. Not complaining! I wonder if I’m getting a lot of foil packets.

I remember getting an Estee Lauder lipstick sample in a Birchbox this year (I’m not sure if it was this one though), and it was one of those cards you can sometimes find in a magazine. But, I’m hoping for all that’s getting it that it’s at least a mini lipstick!

I’m most interested in the LOC eye shadow, and the Clarins Cleanser. I also look forward to trying the TokyoMilk perfume. Hopefully, it’s not too floral. I generally prefer spicy scents with a touch of floral.

They must be taking my super-fair skin seriously, since this is the second box in a row I’ve received a facial product with a sunscreen. The lipstick may be interesting, depending on what color it is. While I’ve enjoyed trying all of the different hair products I’ve received from Birchbox since I’ve subscribed, I’m starting to get burned out. Although I do really like the OUAI Volume Spray I received last month.

Everything and Nothing is a pretty strong, sweet floral, but it balances with orange and tea.

I ended up buying the full sized Tokyo Milk Dark after trying it from Birchbox. My daughter and I can’t get enough of it!

-TokyoMilk Dark Novacaine Perfume Sample (I’ve been hoping for a fragrance sample but this one has 2 starts and everyone says it smells like cinnamon potpourri- yuck)

Does anyone know if there is a way to see what color you’ll get for the shadow stick & lipstick sample?

So, I signed back up for the first time in a year and a half. A lot of the samples look good, and I’m hoping for a couple decent ones. I cancelled Allure and skipped BeautyFix this month, so I figure I’m still saving $30!

I’m ok with most of my samples except for the self tanner. I don’t do tan. Self or otherwise. This is why I use SPF religiously.
The rest are: a shimmer liquid eyeshadow, Clarins cleanser, lip treatment, the hairspray I asked for and my add-on.

I am not happy with them at all. I opted out of receiving face wash this month. It was confirmed via email. Well guess what? I am getting Coffee Face Polish and Comfort Zone Cleanser. I sent them an email. What is the point of opting out if I’m going to receive it anyways??

Ice only been able to opt out of an item twice now, and that was a few months ago. It was nice because I have kinky hair and I’m always offered some nonsense for straight, thin, or blow dry styled hair.

Update: I received an email back stating that they don’t offer the option to exclude a specific product type. Is a cleanser not face wash?? However this completely contradicts that:

How do you opt out of something with Birchbox??

It’s an option during sample choice. After you pick or skip your sample you can opt out of something. Last month I opted out of a fragrance sample.

My box is OK this month…I’m will not sure until I actually receive because I want to see the sizes…I’m really just excited about 1 product

• LOC shadow Stick in Heavy Petal (this was my sample choice… the others didn’t appeal to me)
• Sunday Riley CEO Serum (ive been wanting to try this!! So excited for this …I hope it’s a decent size so I can try it for a few days)
• Adesse NY Cupuacu butter lip balm ( I’m a bit intrigued by this, we’ll see how it is)
• Matrix Total Results Mega Sleek shampoo
• conditioner (, they obviously don’t read your reviews or go by your profile…i can buy this at the drugstore and the fact that they count this as 2 is ridiculous…Im tired of getting shampoo/conditioner….rant over lol)

Overall, 2 out of the 5 I’m looking forward to…I don’t know why I just can’t give B.B. up ..probably because they were my first ever subscription and started my addiction lol …I’ll also probably purchase the curated box too

My bag is horrible, as usual. I really may cancel. I have had them since 2012 (first box) , it’s sad but I just can take drug store shampoo every month. Not one cool sample. So sick of it all!!!
