Tribe Limited Edition Beauty Box FULL SPOILERS

I hope you are having a great day so far. Your L.E. Boxes shipped yesterday and we hope you are excited to receive them.

I have some unfortunate information that is really hard for us to deal with as a business, but as always, our most important values are transparency and communication with you!

Upon delivery of the products for the L.E. box, we realized that some (not all) Tarte palettes had minor “bumps” on them and decided to investigate. Upon investigation, we realized that our merchandise was kept in a room without air conditioning during the shipment period, which caused some of the palettes to “sweat”. Please note that we’ve done extensive research and have asked industry professionals, this is totally safe for your skin and the product is still in good condition. What happens, in this case, is that the product forms very tiny “bumps” in reaction to this. In addition to this, 82 palettes were completely shattered either by Canada customs who investigate the packages at the border or the delivery courier. Thankfully we had ordered in excess and that didn’t delay shipment.

It was a really tough decision for us to either cancel all the L.E. box orders or delay shipment by ordering brand new palettes, which would take about 3 extra weeks to deliver. We’ve decided to ship anyways and apply a 10% discount to everyone’s next subscription. If you aren’t a subscriber, we can send you the difference as a refund. Not all palettes have this issue, however, it’s impossible for us to know which do and which don’t because we shipped so many boxes. As you can imagine, this is a huge loss in the thousands of dollars for the company but nothing is more important to us than your satisfaction, hence why we’ll be applying this discount to your next boxes.

For those of you who will receive this palette, we hope you won’t be upset with us and again, we are so sorry about this. We aren’t even able to file a claim on this issue because the courier claims it doesn’t cover these kinds of shipment issues.

So I just received an email from Tribe saying that a bunch of the pallets were damaged, but they don’t know who’s?? Anyhoo…they shipped them out anyways, and are giving us 10% off the next box or a refund. Not good.😢

Does anyone know when we will be getting the first spoiler for the next box? I know we will be charged on the 15th.

so glad i passed on this box. i don’t really like taste highlighters and while i love loose pigments, thats not a color i would reach for regularly. Everything else is just fluff to me lol

I wish I would have waited &/or could cancel my purchase!! Not happy with anything in this box!

I am so glad I passed! Nothing exciting for me. I bought Bombay and Cedar LE instead.

I love the little Tarte palette but I’m on highlighter overload. And I really like the MAC eye shadow. But I don’t think I will buy the box just to get it. Maybe someone will have it up for swap!

Gosh, I bought this and giving 90 percent away as a birthday gift…..

I’m so on the fence about this sub. I know they are new, and it’s said the shipping is working on g oung down to 5.00 from 6.99 in the states, but I so want to join and love it, but even at around 40.00 I’m just not sure the value is there compared to other subs.

I know starting out must be difficult, but I’m so on the fence. I wish they would at least give out a few brand names of up and coming boxes.

Also, I wish someone would come out with a decent size high end (not two faced, and tarte because that’s really not high end) im talking like “Tom ford” “marc jacobs” “mac” and “nars” “Charlotte tilsbury” “pat McGrath” type items deluxe to full size , even if it means we pay 60 or so for one, maybe two decent name brand samples and then add a couple cool indie, or esty type brands. But also send items that aren’t the same primers, and such that we always get in other boxes.

I know tribe has done the Mac powder in the limited box (the one of two things I’m keeping) and the nars stick (I would have been disappointed and hoped for the blush lol) but the marq Jacob setting spray was small for what you are paying for this box vs value of other boxes.

I would LOVE to see more made in the state makeup , and also maybe French (as I’ve read they have many exciting and good makeup, plus their contents are usually picky and work well) .

I guess I’m just kinda on the fence with this one. I’ve seen many unboxing on YouTube that are meh for the price. Even though boxy started out small, to get into the major leagues where they are today with amazing value, it was still only 21.00 as it grew vs 34.99 PLUS the 6.99 or even at 5.00 to make it hover around 42, to 40 something dollars…because when they get a warehouse in the states, shipping will go down 1.99 but then most likely sales tax will be added…so I’m just kinda wondering the value vs other subs….maybe I’m over thinking it and should sub for a few months and check it out….but I’d hate to waste that money and get basically the same things I get in my other subs for less money to try out, and save the 42 and buy something at sephora, or Macy’s….i just don’t know ladies and gents lol and it’s making me crazy hahaha. Sub boxes suck you in and its a crazy world. Lol
