Now, on to the items!

Method Body Simply Nourish Body Wash – 3.4 oz Value $1.32

I didn’t know Method made bath and body products (besides hand soap) – this is a great discovery! The coconut and rice milk formula has a sweet but subtle coconut scent, and it creates a rich, creamy lather.

Love Beauty & Planet Volume Coconut Water & Mimosa Flower Shampoo – 3 oz Retail Value $3.99

This is a new haircare brand I’ve been seeing in almost every magazine over the past few months, and I was happy to try another scent from their line. (I’ve already sampled the Lavender version – it’s great.)

And, we get a matching conditioner:

Love Beauty & Planet Volume Coconut Water & Mimosa Flower Conditioner – 3 oz Value $3.99

First, excellent sized samples! These are perfect for travel and this set lasted me for an entire week!

I love the formulas. They are ingredient-conscious, the scent is fab, and they didn’t weigh down my hair at all.

Shea Moisture African Black Soap Facial Mud Mask Packette (1ct or .5oz) Value $2.49

This mask is designed to “draw out dirt and congestion while helping absorb excess oil and improve the appearance of troubled skin.” You apply a thin layer, let it set for up to 10 minutes, then remove. I found it to be very gentle on my skin, and while I’ve found similar masks to be somewhat drying, this left my skin looking dewy.

One minor complaint, though. There are atleast 2-3 uses in this packet, so I really wish they would have packaged it in a tube or some other resealable option.

Schmidt’s Rose + Vanilla Natural Deodorant – .7 oz Value $1.32

I love the idea of natural/ingredient-conscious deodorants, but I usually end up going back to my tried-and-true Secret or Dove because they work better/are easier to use.

First, I love that this comes in stick form. (The natural deodorants that are in a jar and you have to apply with your fingertips, just aren’t for me. I need the ease of a stick!)

Second, I was surprised by how much I liked the scent. Normally, I shy away from anything rose-scented, but this rose + vanilla combination is lovely.

And third, this worked well for me! I wore it on an hour walk, and still smelled like roses after! (Just an FYI – the scent sticks around, so be prepared to smell like this deodorant for the whole day.)

Nourish Organic Face Lotion – .5 oz Value $5.29

(Good to know for swaps – this item has an inner foil seal.)

This is a very lightweight lotion that absorbs almost instantly. I love that it’s organic, and the sweet orange scent was a welcome surprise!

Weleda Skin Food – 0.34 oz Value $1.13

(Good to know for swaps – this item has an inner foil seal that you puncture with the cap.)

Unlike the lotion, this is an intense (almost balm) that provides tons of moisture. You can use it both on face and body, and a little goes a long way. (Just a heads up – it takes a bit of time to fully absorb.)

And again, I love the natural scent!

Verdict: This box has a value of about $19.53. That’s great for a $7 Target beauty box, plus the $3 beauty coupon always adds value to me. I love when Target does a natural beauty box, too! All the items are great, and I found some new favorites. (In fact, I think I’m going to buy a spare box since they are still available!)

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes! As of 4/27, this box is still available! Make sure to sign up for the My Subscription Addiction daily newsletter so you don’t miss the next one!

  1. Just bought 4 more boxes and another all the masks box to get the $10 gift card promo. Figured since its still available why not they will make great gifts for bdays for coworkers.

    • So your probably the reason why I can’t buy any of the boxes. LOL! Just kidding… Nice Job!

  2. Liz, this is one of the best! I have now ordered 4. Will be doing a giveaway on my blog. Love it!

  3. Just so you know, if you did a 2-week detox from your usual antiperspirant(s), you would likely find the natural deodorants and such, would work far better than they have prior to the detox. Maybe not as well as the very toxic antiperspirants/deodorants but better once you’ve allowed your pits to recover from the, presumably, years of use of the toxic ones. Just sayin. that has been my experience, as well as the experience of others I know.
Thank you for your time. Hope you are well.

  4. great review…and it sold me on buying it!

  5. Lol. Even though I normally love a naturals box, I totally passed on this one and held strong until I saw your review and caved. Still available, and I just bought one. Thanks! Love your reviews.

  6. I loved this box. The method body wash was lovely, I hurried to target to try their other scents. Currently they have a sale on their beauty, skin and hair care items BOGO 25% off. I haven’t tried the love beauty and planet shampoo or conditioner, but couldn’t resist to buy their body wash.
This months box was great, I could see myself using all the products instead of donating them.

  7. I tried the shampoo and conditioner and they remind me if Live Clean.

The body wash was nice too.

  8. Great box- will be purchasing the shampoo & conditioner for sure. I’ve been using a much more expensive natural deodorant and really liked this!

    Liked the review too! Thanks!

  9. I bought 2

  10. I somehow must have missed the spoilers when this box came out, but after reading this review, I was thrilled that these boxes were still in stock! Just snagged one. I will use every item inside!

  11. So surprised to see it still available. Bought another. I highly recommend this box!

  12. I LOVE this box and see myself buying full size of the shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

    • I agree! They went so well together. So glad to have tried these.

  13. I have to say this was the first time I went out and actually purchased almost everything! I picked up the deodorant, body wash, shampoo and conditioner and the skin food balm (actually 2 of them!) I was super impressed with the products!

  14. I love this box: every item is going to be used and I adore coconut/rose smell.

  15. I just bought 3! I love skin food – it was a recent discovery from the Whole Foods bag, and all of these are perfect for my gym bag!

  16. So, just bought another one, along with 2 of each of the boxes still available!!! I had already purchased for this month, but couldn’t resist knowing they were still available. I have a major problem and I need help!

Wakeup an Makeup is now sold out. Thankfully, because I would have grabbed two more of those!

  17. Aahhh, Liz – thanks so much for this review! I saw this natural deodorant on swaps and wanted to try it (the jarred deodorant skeeves me out too) but I didn’t think in a million years that this box would still be available. Just snagged one!

  18. I like this one. I’m not sure why I didn’t buy it…. But I clicked on the link and it’s still available! 😉

    • I am so surprised this one didn’t sell out – it is awesome!

    • Just got one! Not sure why l didn’t get it previously.

  19. I have figured out a way to get around the pouches of clay masks – almost all of those types are 2-3 uses. I squeeze an even line up to the top of the pouch, just a tiny bit, then the clay effectively seals the pouch until you need to use it again, so I cut below that, then repeat as necessary. I was wasting so many of these, until I realized the clay could seal itself.

    • Great idea!

  20. I didn’t care much for the body wash, but haven’t tried anything else yet.
    Skin Food is next.
