If you log in through a browser, not the app, and go to my account > account details > online orders and open the play! Order Details (it was dated 11/1 for me), you can see the “item number” next to the image.

Go to Orders, recent orders, click on your Play order “View Details” and voila: ITEM 2057735 – 735 being the number you want.

Oh wow, this is the first month my box is the first to be spoiled! To those upset about repeats, the theme of the box is “the best of the best products, AKA #BeautyGoals” definitely sets the expectation that they would include products beauty junkies have already tried or received, but yay for restocking on some products!

I have to agree. I wouldn’t mind so much if they would include any other shade but black. I’m an older women and I think black looks too harsh on me, I end up giving them away to my daughter and her friends.

I don’t understand why they give out spoilers of older products that everyone isn’t necessarily getting. They should only put out a spoiler on a new product that will be in all, or nearly all boxes. It is so misleading of what my month’s box will look like.

I’m with you, Marilyn! I think I am just about over the Play box. I had such hope for it as well as the Macy’s sub. I cancelled Macy’s in April and I think Sephora Play won’t be too far behind. All the samples are so very, very tiny and most have been around for years. Sephora launches new products every month. Would it kill them to include samples from these? “Beauty Classics” is just another term for old 100 point rewards overstock.

There are so many brands at Sephora, why are they sending the same Benefit and Kat Von D products? The only thing I haven’t recieved was the Becca sample. With my luck I still won’t get that. I will cancel getting repeat products for the 3rd time.

Sephora Play is hit and miss for me, I usually love it but did have a couple of bad months recently. Hopefully the other items in the box will be more unique as these are pretty common IMO. For $10 a month I’m still pretty pleased with it overall.

This is my box too. After getting the worst box last month (two Sephora brands, no spoiler item and none of the hyped products) I was hoping May would be a little better. I have or have tried all the items here. I don’t like the primer, plus it has been around for years. YSL Black Opium is simply awful and seriously, do I really need more Drybar? The Marc Jacobs mascara tends to clump and flake and doesn’t really do a lot for my lashes. I like the KVD liner but have enough that I can’t possibly use before they dry out. Oh wait…I haven’t tried the new and highly touted Sephora mud mask. There has never been a better case for sarcasm.

Right? Seems like there is an endless supply of samples of this stuff. I have sooo many, and I’m pretty sure Sephora already unloaded a few of them on me. I’ve never even tried it, because I’ve already found my favorite silicone pore minimizers. I’ve also watched wear test/comparison vids and am not interested in this goo. I’d be pleased to get either of the other 2 options, but am also pretty sure I’ll be saddled with the sub-par primer.
*Fingers crossed there will be more exciting items in my box to counterbalance the disappointment of this*

That kat von d liner is awful on me. It leaks into lines I have in my eyelids and bleeds everywhere. As much hype as it gets I was sure hoping it would be amazing, but it just don’t work for me.

Have you tried it with a primer yet? I love love love this liner (although I really don’t want another one in my box because I got 3 already) and I never had any issues with it. Since I have oily eyelids, eyeshadows and eyeliners always leaked everywhere, streaking and all that mass, but I tried and fell in love with NARS’ eyeshadow primer 4 years ago and I’m using it ever since. It’s $20something in Sephora but I usually only buy it twice a year.
Anyways. Just thought I share 🙂

I’d be happy with any of these! I was about to buy some more Porefessional, I love the Becca stuff I’ve gotten in the past, and yes we all have too many black liners, but they dry up, nice to have a fresh one sometimes.

Please stop with highlighters! We all don’t want to look like a strobe light all the time. No joke, I have SIXTEEN highlighters in various formations from just 2 sub boxes in 2 years. That’s more highlighter than anyone could use in a lifetime. I’m almost 44 years old (and my profiles reflect that) I don’t want to be glittery!

For being a company specializing in makeup/beauty, Sephora has really gone downhill fast with these boxes. Especially the last few months. Same brands, same products. Multiple repeats. This feels more like a way to dump off a surplus of old samples than it does a curated box. Unless they seriously step it up next month, I’m unsubscribing.

KVD Tattoo liner is my ride or die liner. There was a recent news story about a local nurse who was in a car wreck. She took a photo of herself in the head guard with her other makeup all smeared. People kept asking about her liner that did not budge. It was the KVD liner. The liner is no joke.
I really wouldn’t want to get the Porefessional.

Not super thrills with these spoilers. I have champagne pop and it’s not the best color for me. I need some more pale. I don’t like the porefessionals primer so if I get it I’ll probably gift it. I have a friend who loves it so I’ll probably give it to her. Then, the eye liner is good I like hers but I already do have one stared and another one to use when it’s out. But it would be cool if it was in a different color cause I don’t have any good color eyeliners.
