Nadine West Plus Subscription Review + Coupon – April 2018
Nadine West is a subscription styling service for women sizes small to 3X. Subscribers fill out a style quiz and are sent an outfit every month based on their style preferences. The best part is that there’s no styling fee—just a small shipping fee that is credited toward the cost of anything you keep.
This package was sent to us at no cost to review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).
About Nadine West
The Subscription Box: Nadine West
The Cost: $9.78 is charged to your account when your package ships (to cover shipping) and that amount is put towards the cost of the items you keep. If you return everything, however, that amount is not refunded.
IMPORTANT NOTE: A while back, several readers expressed concern over the shipping charge of $9.78. Please note that this is a recent increase! However, existing subscribers keep their previous rate, which I think was $6.50.
The Products: Each pink package will include 2-4 items. Typical combos include a shirt or scarf and a couple pieces of jewelry and other accessories.
Ships to: U.S.
Nadine West Plus Clothing April 2018 Review
This is the invoice that was sent with my package. The return date is listed on the invoice.
Antler Dance Necklace – Cost to Keep $21.99
I wasn’t sure I would, but I actually really like this necklace! I like that it is so shiny and pretty, but I also think the way one antler is hinged looks really unusual and cool. I also like where it hits on my neckline.
Aged Filigree Earrings – Cost to Keep $14.99
These earrings are a good size and are super lightweight! I also like the colors. I am not usually a big fan of filigree, but these are very pretty and relatively simple.
Cat’s Meow Sunglasses – Cost to Keep $14.99
I love a good pair of cat eye sunglasses! These are super cute! They are also very basic and sturdy, so I think they will work with lots of different outfits and looks. I also think they are a pretty good shape for my face (I am wearing them in the photos below).
Water Color Botanical Dress – Cost to Keep $29.99
This is a cotton knit faux wrap dress, and I have to say, I think it looks really pretty! It’s also surprisingly flattering! I think the color and print are really nice and appropriate for the season.
Rosie Skirt – Cost to Keep $22.99
This is the only piece in the box that I don’t like very much. I am not really a skirt person, so that might be coloring my view, but it’s not a great length. I don’t like the print very much either. But the thing I probably dislike the most is the fabric; it’s a very synthetic looking and feeling poly blend. I am sure some people would love to get a skirt like this, but it’s just not my style.
The Verdict: I love Nadine West! This is the second month that has been free from sizing issues, so I am really happy about that. I like the necklace and the dress a lot! Oh, and the sunglasses, too! I think if you want to treat yourself to a styling service on a budget, Nadine West is the way to go! Their pieces are not always the highest quality, but they are consistently the least expensive.
