Heart + Honey Queen Bee Box April 2018 Review

Heart + Honey always has a theme, and this month is “Sakura” because it’s the season of the cherry blossom blooms!

Buddha Teas Cherry Blossom Black Tea, box of 18 – Retail value $10.99 (found here for $8.99)

I don’t know why I am surprised that this black tea has a floral sweetness to it, but I am. Unlike how I view black teas, this one is delicate in flavor and is really easy to drink. From the teamaker:

The blend consists of only the finest quality Japanese black tea Sakura leaves and Sakura blossom petals. The black tea is made from green tea and fermented for six months, producing a delicate sweetness that compliments elegantly with the Sakura leaves. The leaves are pickled for six months before drying of which this technique is unique to our blend. Finally, we select petals from a specific region of Japan that are the deepest color of pink and emit an tantalizing floral aroma.

Just a wonderful cup of tea! And it’s finally Springtime here in Pittsburgh, so I can enjoy this on the still chilly, but not too-cold evenings.

This lovely handmade teacup has a pink and violet Sakura design with a gold rim, black band at the bottom, and a rainbow pearly finish. It’s a bit larger than other traditional cups I’ve seen, so you can drink a bit longer before returning to your teapot for more.

Sakura Blossom Sea Salt Scrub and Shea Butter Soap Set – Estimated Retail Value $16.00 (similar product linked)

This set of Mission Grove Sea Scrub and Soap comes in the perfect Springtime scent: Sakura Blossom! The scrub comes in a 2 oz. tub that you can use in the shower to exfoliate your whole body and scrub away any dry skin. The sea salt gently scrubs while the jojoba oil leaves a softness behind. I found this scrub to be a bit on the dry side, which is pretty normal, so although it does contain some oil it can be a little messy. The fragrance is made up of apple, citrus, and heliotrope to bring a really fresh scent to your shower. The soap is in a 5 oz. bar and made from shea butter, meadowfoam, and borage seed oils. It smells just as nice as the scrub and contains no parabens, phthalates, or petrochemicals. Both are also made in the USA and cruelty-free. The packaging for both of these feels so soft and feminine as well. Such a nice little treat.

This little bottle packs a big treat for those who want a warm, tingly sensation in the more delicate areas of their body. Just pump out a small amount of this light pink gel that contains a blend of menthol and peppermint oil to enhance stimulation your most sensitive spots. It’s safe to taste too, so it can be a treat for more than just one partner. It has a nice sweet but minty flavor to it!

O hai, Diana! Pleased to meet you!

The Diana Vibrator box

She comes in a lovely little soft pink gift box.

She comes with a USB charging cable and user manual as well.

one side of The Diana Vibrator

Here is our new BFF is all her glory. Waterproof medical grade silicone covers all of her curves with the exception of a hard white plastic handle at the bottom.

other side of The Diana Vibrator

You’ll notice she has two appendages to hit two of your many pleasure areas.

inner side of The Diana Vibrator

The longer appendage, which curves a bit more than the average toy, has soft grooves on the inner side.

controls for The Diana Vibrator

The controls are also near the bottom of the waterproof body. Just two buttons control the power and allow you to toggle through all of the different settings. The bottom button controls the larger appendage and takes you through three levels of steady vibration in addition to four different vibration patterns while the top button does the same for the smaller appendage. Lucky for us, you can use BOTH at the same time. 😉

slender arm of The Diana Vibrator

The rounded head should hit all the right spots inside while the smaller appendage stays outside to tackle the zone many of us delight in the most.

charging cord plugged into The Diana Vibrator

As any modern toy should have, Diana comes with her own USB charging cord that connects through a small water-tight hole at the tip of the bottom. Her buttons light up when in use, or to show you when she’s charging.

Verdict: Heart + Honey’s Sakura box is an absolute delight! They’ve hit all of the self-care areas with calming tea, a vessel to enjoy it from, some luxe bath items and two sexual health items to discover alone or with a partner. Everything has a fun cherry blossom pink tone and the curation is tops, per usual.

  1. You are so funny! Thank you for reviewing this!

    • It was my PLEASURE, Margie! 😛 Glad you liked the review!

  2. Any chance of reviewing the Bumble Bee version of this sub? I would be curious to see the difference in the offerings and I’ve been unable to find much relating to the smaller box. Thanks!

    • Hey Jenny! I am totally down to review it, so I’ll see what I can do. 😉

      • That’d be great! I, too, am interested to see how the two compare.

  3. So Whaddya do? Sit it on the coffee table next to the laptop to charge it up by USB?
Lol. that is the visual I got.

    • Haha I have many USB “toys” and I do that exact thing except on my my nightstand. The bf always gets a kick out of it

    • You can plug the USB into a wall charger and charge it that way…your phone charger block should work.

    • Hehehe- I mean, I’ve been there. But yep- the cube thingy like Cristina suggested is usually how I recharge and keep it on my nightstand. I will say that when I’m charging the ones from H+H on my desk in the office, it makes for a funny photo…

  4. Nicely curated –it fits right into Cherry blossom season.
