Graze is a mini-snack subscription box that sends a customized selection of treats weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
Graze offers over 100 different snacks that you can rate online, which, over time, helps tailor your subscription to your particular snacking preferences. Some subscribers spend time choosing preferences, noting which options they want to try, think they would like, or "trash" and prefer not to receive. Each Graze box may look completely different!
For subscribers with food sensitivities, it’s easy to "trash" snacks that contain gluten, dairy, or any other specific ingredient; however, Graze snacks are produced in a facility with nuts, wheat, milk, and many other foods that might not make this subscription a good fit for anyone with severe food allergies.
Boxes are shipped via USPS and are conveniently designed to fit in most standard mailboxes.
My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Graze April 2018 Review
Graze includes this handy pamphlet that lists all of the nutritional values for the month's snacks. There's a little feature about their flapjack snacks on the front—if you haven't tried them, oh my gosh, totally do! They are some of my favorite styles of Graze snacks!
Soy Roasted Seeds, 1.2 oz. - Buy 6 for $8.99
Sunflower seeds are one of my favorite salty snacks. This mix includes pumpkin seeds, too, which are packed with great nutrients. Everything is roasted in soy sauce, which gives each pinch of seeds a more muted, umami saltiness than straight-up salted sunflower seeds you find in a snack aisle.
Garden of England, 0.92 oz. - Buy 6 for $8.99
This mix of dried fruit pieces is inspired by an English garden. It includes big, airy chunks of dried apple, plus chewy dried strawberries and black currants. I don't think I've tried a dried black currant (nor do I have that fruit very often), but I liked the deep berry flavor. It was almost like wine!
Sweet and Spicy Beet Crunch, 0.81 oz. - Buy 6 for $8.99
I didn't get as much heat as I expected from this mix of dried beet chips, sunflower seeds, and jalapeno chickpeas. The chickpeas were a tiny bit spicy, but more in a flavorful way rather than a heat sense. The most surprising thing about this snack was just how beet-y the beets were! The beet chips I've had in the past were all baked or fried and tasted almost like potato chips, wherein these were dried, which seems to preserve a lot of that sweet, earthy, beet flavor.
Cinnamon Banana Energizer, 1.13 oz. - Buy 6 for $8.99
This blend of hearty nuts and dried fruit had a breakfasty vibe to it. I liked the cinnamon-dusted almonds and the mixed nuts, but I will say that the dried banana "coins" (as they call them on the site) were a little too tough and chewy for my liking. I could see this mix being a yummy topping for oatmeal or yogurt.
Vanilla Pear Energizer, 1.23 oz. - Buy 6 for $8.99
Yay more pumpkin seeds! This mix of vanilla pumpkin seeds (which are super tasty), cranberries, dried pear, and almonds is filling and lightly sweet. The dried pear is a neat twist on the dried apple slices I'm used to snacking on. Cranberries aren't my fave, but I liked picking through the other components of this satisfying snack.
Eleanor's Apple Crumble, 1.13 oz. - Buy 6 for $8.99
I can't say that this mix was quite as decadent as actual apple crumble, but I can see how the flavors in this snack reflect the more indulgent dessert. There are dried apple pieces, cinnamon almonds, and raisins, though I would've expected little oat clusters or something like that, given the name of the snack. Raisins aren't my fave, but the combination of apple and cinnamon almonds was really filling and tasty.
Jelly Doughnut, 1.06 oz. - Buy 6 for $8.99
This mix was a clever deconstruction of a doughnut! Again, this mix does a pretty good job of capturing the flavors of a jelly doughnut but doesn't quite get that decadent vibe. The cookie pieces, for instance, have a light vanilla-almond flavor and melt in your mouth. That's not quite doughnutty, but it's tasty in its own right. The gummy strings aren't quite my taste (I'm not a big gummy fan). The raspberry flavors were bright and sweet, though!
Apple and Carrot Defense Smoothie with Chia, 1.41 oz. - Buy 6 for $8.99
I loved the sweet little cubes of nuts and fruit in this snack. (They call them "raspberry chia bites".) The "carrot chews" were a little too chewy for my taste, but the mildly sweet flavor was definitely unique. The dried apple and blanched almonds give some texture to the mix. "Smoothie" seems like one of the biggest leaps name-wise in this snack pack. It's definitely more crunchy and snack-mix-ish, but I feel like this mix could be a fun topping for a smoothie (or even a nutritious, textural addition to blend into a smoothie).
Verdict: This month, I got a fruit-heavy Graze box. I'm usually a fan of their heartier snacks, like the flapjacks or the savory nut mixes, but I was actually really impressed with the variety of flavors in these fruit-forward snacks. They're definitely healthy snacks—they might have words like "doughnut" or "apple crumble" in the name, but they're not the kind of thing that you're going to try and say "Oh my goodness, it tastes just like the real thing!" BUT! They ARE tasty alternatives to traditional trail mixes. And full of nutrients, too! This box included 8 snacks for $13.99, which breaks down to $1.75 each, which feels fair for the quality of the ingredients and the uniqueness of what you get per pack.
