We have a the FULL spoilers for the April 2018 Emma & Chloe box! (Thanks Jen!)

The featured designer this month is Constance Lepage.

Based in Lille, Constance Lepage has been creating her jewelry collections since 2011, freshly graduated from Olivier de Serres School of Applied Arts.
Brass chains, fine stones and colored cottons mix and match with each other's imagination. Initially intended for architecture, she lets her inspirations fly in many journeys to create feminine and timeless pieces.

More from Emma & Chloe:

1 / CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT YOUR JOURNEY AND YOUR START IN THE JEWELRY INDUSTRY?
I started making jewelry as a child at a very young age, it was one of my favorite hobbies. I arrived in this world quite randomly though, I was more into architecture and visual communication at ffirst. I started selling my jewelry at some shops in Lille, in the north of France, to make a little money and luckily for me - it quickly grew.
2/ HOW DO YOU DESCRIBE YOUR UNIVERSE?
I have a very feminine yet simple universe, without frills. I like elegant and discreet jewels that can be accumulated according to your desires.
3 / WHAT DO YOU LIKE THE MOST ABOUT YOUR JOB TODAY?
I like the freedom I have. I only create jewels that I like and that I want to wear everyday. I also like the challenge of having a small business, it's very exciting even though it's a lot of work.
4 / WHAT IS YOUR LAST COLLECTION CALLED? WHERE DOES ITS NAME COME FROM?

I work in small collections, I can produce about 4 or 5 a year. The last collection is called "Malo" in reference to Saint-Malo because it is inspired by forms of shells.

5 / WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE DESIGN STAGE WHEN CREATING YOUR COLLECTIONS?

I love to receive the prototypes that I laser cut or chemically created by the Parisian studio with whom I work. Moving from 2D to 3D is always a little magical!

Each box includes:

Constance Lepage Luna Long Necklace

Cannot wait! Delicate moon, enameled, a sautoir, and 24k? Hooray! I am loving the art deco pieces E&C! I do like that pieces have been reminiscent of each other -it creates a nice curation. I think it helps of you are/have been a longer subscriber. I have several rotating sets I have been able to make using just the past 12 or so months’ selections. It keeps my standard black wardrobe looking chic and fresh-I know these designs are not for everyone, but I am a big time fan!

I wish it were 24k! Where do you see that listed? I’m almost positive it says it is colored brass. However I do love this subscription!

I like this, but don’t love it. Mine arrived all knotted up (I posted a photo on the forum) and I already know after wearing it for about 20 minutes that a chain this fine & this long is kind of troublesome. It keeps kinking up.

I agree. There are definitely issues with the chain. I wore it for an afternoon out and it kept kinking up. It became such an issue that I had to take it off. I will be removing the chain and making it into a crescent earring. Such a bummer.

Mine also was very knotted, and keeps getting kinks but I do really like it.

I agree about the chain. I love the design of this piece, but the chain seems especially prone to kinks and knots.

I just got mine today and it’s gorgeous. I love that it on a longer chain and it looks a bit Art Deco to me. Lovely as always!

To those that have already received this necklace, is it enameled? Gold/white? Silver/white? The length of chain?
Thanks in advance!

Marion

Yes, it is enameled. Mine is silver & white.

Thanks Marion!

So which piece is it???! I love that necklace and just subbed! So darling!

Jessica

It’s the longer, moon shaped necklace on the model wearing the flower crown.

I was hoping the hint of “moon” wouldn’t be so literal (jewelry in the shape of a moon) but I think I like it! Although I do agree- the necklaces they’ve been sending all have a similar look.

Mine is coming today, my first of this sub! I like it, but don’t love it, and am happy I used the MSA coupon. I’ll have to decide if it’s worth the risk for $35. I get Penny + Grace too, and the price on that one is certainly more reasonable and you get a whole set too.

Alex

I get penny and grace and Emma and Chloe and I wear them both daily. They’re both worth the value to me since I wear them so frequently. I got Emma and Chloe when it was 40% off. If Penny and Grace ever had an annual discount I will sub so quickly!

I love Penny & Grace too! These pieces are so much different in complexity, weight, and size that I really enjoy them as well. I was able to get a great discount on an annual subscription. Keep an eye out for offers.

this looks like the last two necklaces that were sent?! not a fan of this one.

Reply ButtonReply

Erica

They seem to have a lot of stuff that is reminiscent of stuff they’ve done before lately

sorry i should clarify that i’m not a fan of receiving similar pieces. i think the difference is the length of the chain. i have a year’s subscription and was hoping to add different pieces to my collection but so far three moon shaped necklaces. here’s hoping next month is more exciting.

Kc

Yeah it does look similar to the previous two. Though I got it today it looks nicer than I thought it would. Delicate long chain but thin metal. The gold looks lighter than previous gold which makes it look better. Just have to figure out what to style it with since it hangs long. I wish it was a different design as all the necklaces we previously got were all moon shaped.

I don’t have anything like this, so I can’t wait to see how it looks on me
