There isn’t a traditional information card or invoice included with the subscription box; you get a personalized handwritten card with styling suggestions instead. I love all the styling tips Nicole and her team included! Their selections for me are always so thoughtful too.
Aloha Long Shirt Dress, Size 22 - Retail Value Unavailable
I am a fan of shirt dresses because they can be rather versatile pieces. I generally prefer them shorter because you can get more wear from them with different legwear, tights, and shoes, but I love this dress regardless! The color palette used in this dress is gorgeous and is well suited for my hair and complexion. Nicole and her staff are excellent at finding incredibly personalized pieces; I feel like this dress was meant just for me! I also love the retro floral print on this piece - it is so pretty! The dress is a bit loose on me, but that is easily fixed with a belt for much-needed definition. I also styled the dress with my wooden Bad Sandy heels to add to the vintage look and the natural feel of the dress. This dress could be worn with flats, but I feel due to the length that heels are a far more preferable option. This dress will look fantastic with a cardigan, faux leather biker jacket, or a denim jacket. I like the cardigan styling because you could pair this with a number of different color cardigans like black, tan, or a seafoam/teal, olive green, or orange/red to bring out the floral print on this piece. That creates several outfits alone! In cooler fall months one also could layer a scarf with this dress to help it translate to autumn. I am eager for it to feel like Spring out here (it just snowed… boo hiss) so I can start wearing this gorgeous dress!
Verdict: Once again, CHC Vintage nails it! I am consistently impressed by how considerate and thoughtful the selections are each month for me. They constantly find pieces I would pick out for myself if I were thrifting! I also am always blown away by the high-quality vintage pieces they find me that in plus sizes! Finding plus size, modern pieces is a challenge, but finding vintage plus pieces in good condition is often an even taller order! CHC Vintage manages to be successful with this task every month which makes them such an amazing subscription box!
