  1. I got Circe! I love mythology and the reviews for it on Goodreads are amazing!

    • You should read her first book, Song of Achilles. It’s one of my all-time favorites. I’m doing this subscription just for Circe haha.

  2. How does this work?? It’s 14.99 for one book, and then you can pick two more for 9.99….so 3 books for 24.98 total???

I want to find a good book club to join, as I read 8/9 books a month, but I usually buy second hand books because it’s cheaper that way, or go to goodwill and get them…,but I’d love to find a good book monthly club that has more then 1 or 2 books a month for a reasonable price…..

Are there anymore suggestions as well?!

    • The first book is $14.99; you can add up to two additional books for $9.99/each.

    • It’s almost $35 if you end up with three books; this subscription won’t save you any money because you can end up grabbing these books used off Amazon for a few bucks each, but you’re paying more to have new releases (and sometimes they aren’t released until a while later).

      • A lot of books are actually more expensive on Amazon unless ypu buy used.

        • The publishing houses set the pricing for new releases. Amazon makes this clear in their price structure ( usually says ” Price set by publisher” next to the square to click to buy).
I buy Kindle versions which are always around $10 cheaper, don’t kill a tree, and don’t take up room in our full study/ library.

          • Okay..this is stupid, I know…i have a Samsung tablet I always use and am on….can I use it as a kindle?! Would I need an app??

I’ve always buy used books, and then will either take them to random laundry Matts to maybe get someone interested in them that might don’t have extra money ( I dont have lots myself, but still) or I leave them at a dr office if I go to a dr and have a few, or donate to goodwill and I keep the ones I love….but I think these book clubs/boxes look great but seem way to expensive for what they are

      • Thanks. I read all the time and always buy second hand books to save on costs…i know new books are expensive, but all of the book boxes, clubs whatever seem to be a bit expensive for what they are, and thought even 14.99 plus 9.99 for a total of 3 books was high.

  3. Our kind of cruelty…a nice light beach read 😉
