de Mamiel Intense Nurture Antioxidant Elixir - FULL SIZE! Retail Value $135

First, a moment to appreciate this beautiful packaging!

It really feels like unboxing a skincare gift!

This elixir is formulated with antioxidants to help prevent cell damage, plus a blend of pure essential oils including Rose, Myrrh, and Vetiver to help neutralize and calm inflammation.

You can use this morning and evening, and just apply 2-3 drops on cleansed skin.

The formula is like a cream/gel hybrid. It's light, gentle on my skin, and I love the herbal scent. I didn't expect immediate results, but my skin instantly felt smoother and softer after applying this, too.

de Mamiel Exhale Daily Hydrating Nectar - 5 ml Value $11.50

This is a moisturizing sunscreen. It absorbs quickly and has a fabulous herbal scent - not your typical SPF scent!

Verdict: This month's Beauty Heroes box has a value of about $146.50. I think that's a great value for the $38.33 cost! Such luxe, quality, natural beauty items!

I appreciate that Beauty Heroes sends top-quality natural and organic brands. This box is about quality over quantity, and I highly recommend it if you are looking for a natural beauty box.

Hi Liz, I’m pretty sure this version of the sidekick in this box, the Hydrating Nectar, is without the SPF. I reached out to Beauty Heroes last month and they stated the SPF version couldn’t be shipped to the US. Just FYI…ladies, make sure you use a separate sunscreen!

I reached out to the deMamiel company (I purchased the full size of the Exhale Hydrating Nectar from a different store prior). The US and the UK versions of the product contain the exact same formulation, same ingredients, same level of zinc and titanium dioxide, same everything. Both versions were supposed to be sold as SPF 30. However, due to a third party error, deMamiel did not get the FDA certification. deMamiel had to relabel all Exhale products sold in the US removing any language referring to SPF. deMamiel is in the process of receiving the FDA approval, which is a lengthy process. As soon as they receive the certification, Exhale will be relabeled again here in the US stating it’s an SPF 30 product.

I can attest the product works. I suffer from a severe sun allergy and melasma. I have used Exhale while out on sunny days and have not burnt or experienced negative symptoms from sun exposure. It isn’t waterproof though, so I use a different sports sunscreen if I know I’m going to be sweating or swimming.

TLDR: Exhale’s US and UK versions are both SPF 30! Box labels are the only difference between the two versions.

From how I understand it, they can’t ship the version that states it is spf 30 because it has not been approved/registered as a sunscreen in the us. It is still the same formula with physical sunscreen but the bottle can’t state it as a sunscreen.

I love the serum. The look and consistency of the serum remind me of the one from Honua that we got last year.

“…including Rose, Myrrh, and Vetiver” – wish these small cosmetics companies would learn not to capitalize lowercase words. It just means that the text is written by someone with zero science education or common sense.

In general, errors like that annoy me : ) I see it everywhere, though, in modern culture: newspapers, advertisements, and our current president’s tweets. I don’t think correct usage and proofreading are valued in our social media-driven world. It’s a lost art ; )

I think the worse is someone writing or texting in all caps! Even though it’s just text I feel like their yelling at me! Ergh!!

Really? Life is too short to be stressed by case! Have a wonderful day!

Nice products, for a great discount. The elixir is listed as £80, which is about $113.

Oh, sorry, I was using the USD version from Net-A-Porter: http://bit.ly/2JyMmjq

(I should have just linked to that!)

This is coming up as sold out.

They had limited quantities this month and it sold out super fast due to the brand’s popularity! The box is available to pick up each month until the 20th unless it sells out before then (which happens often these days since the boxes have been outstanding). Hopefully you can get next month’s!
