Let’s get to those beauty products because this box smells amazing!

aromatherapy associates destress muscle bath and shower oil

Aromatherapy Associates DeStress Muscle Bath & Shower Oil, 3ml sample size – Retail Value $3.98 (Buy a full-size 55ml bottle for $73.00)

aromatherapy associates destress muscle bath and shower oil with description card

WOW- this smells so beautiful! Rosemary, lavender, and ginger help de-stress your body after a long day. The directions say to rub this on your torso, focusing on on areas of concern (that would be my lower back) and then cup your hands and bring them to your face and inhale deeply 3 times. You’ll then step into your regular shower to allow the aromatherapy to do its work. This sounds like a really nice calming way to start my day! I love how this smells and can’t wait to make it a new ritual.

aromatherapy associates revive body gel

Aromatherapy Associates Revive Body Gel, 40ml – Retail Value $10.80 (Buy a full-size 200ml bottle for $54.00)

back of aromatherapy associates revive body gel

At first, I thought this was a shower gel, but it’s to be used any time of day on your skin to give yourself a boost! I love the idea of having something that smells THIS GOOD on hand to help invigorate me when I’m in a slump. This travel size is perfect to keep in my bag when I’m on a trip or even just at work. It includes grapefruit, rosemary, and juniper essential oils which not only smell nice but help even out my skins texture and maintain healthy circulation.

hugo naturals all over lotion

Hugo Naturals All Over Lotion in Vanilla & Sweet Orange, 8 oz – Retail Value $8.99

back of hugo naturals all over lotion

This is the first full-size product of the box and I’m excited to receive it because I am just about out of my current body lotion! Rolling with the theme of things that smell divine, this lotion (that has jojoba oil, shea butter, and pure botanical extracts) has a light vanilla and orange smell that is not too overpowering. The cream itself is the perfect balance of not too watery or greasy, so it absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized. It’s also free of sulfates, gluten, and soy and doesn’t test on animals.

derma-e anti-wrinkle scrub

Derma-E Anti-Wrinkle Vitamin A Glycolic Scrub, 1 oz sample size – Retail Value $3.44 (Buy a 4 oz bottle for $8.00 on sale)

back of derma-e anti-wrinkle scrub

Even though I inherited great skin from my mother, she does have some wrinkles and is always telling me to start now to try and combat them. I also happen to be recently out of my regular exfoliant, so this product will be killing two birds with one stone! It’s a cream scrub that has just a little bit of grit to gently exfoliate dull skin cells that are just hanging out on my face. It’s also packed with Vitamin A, C, and E along with marine plant extracts, apricot seed powder, and papaya which should help keep my skin looking young.

capricious skin care retinol 2.5% serum

Capricious Skin Care Retinol 2.5% Serum, 1.2 oz – Retail Value $49.99+

This bottle is labeled 1.2 oz while the full-size bottle on their site is only labeled as 1 oz, so this has a slightly higher value.

back of capricious skin care retinol 2.5% serum

Another anti-wrinkle product with Vitamin A! This retinol serum isn’t super thick, so it absorbs quickly into my skin and activates collagen and elastin production which of course improves wrinkles, hydration levels, and other skin problems like uneven pigmentation. Suggested use is like other serums, apply after cleansing and before moisturizer (waiting at least 3 minutes). This full-size bottle should last me a long time!

There’s also a coupon code to get 30% off your first order.

free super youth eye cream offer

You can also score a free super youth eye cream by signing up for their emails. Oh crap, we missed the March 1st cutoff!

ilike organic skincare lemon cleansing milk

ilike Organic Skin Care Lemon Cleansing Milk, 2 oz sample? – Retail Value $13.10 (Buy a 8.4 oz bottle for $55.00)

This tube isn’t marked but I’m going to guess it’s about a 2 oz sample size.

ilike organic skincare lemon cleansing milk with cap off

I’m a sucker for any beauty product with the word “milk” in it. For some reason, it just seems luxurious and nice. This cleanser also smells really lemony which I love. It also has Vitamins C and B which helps tone the skin and keep it balanced. Would you believe that I also am about to run out of my normal face cleanser? I swear this box was sent to me from the universe! I’ll be using this opposite the days I use the anti-wrinkle scrub.

They’ve also included a card with a coupon code to shop online.

good day chocolate calm chocolate

Good Day Chocolate Calm Supplement, 8 pieces – Retail Value $3.49

good day chocolate calm chocolate tumbling out of container

Oh cool, chocolate that can chill me out? I’m in! I’ve never tried something like this, but it looks like they have a full range and I could really try the sleep ones! These purple “calm” supplemental candy-coated chocolates will have to do for now. They come 8 to a box and you can eat them all at once if you really need to “max and relax”. They taste just like big M+Ms. Yum.

supplement facts for good day chocolate calm chocolate

I know next to nothing about nutrition or supplements, but all the needed info is here on the back. The suggested serving is 4 pieces, but you can, of course, take less or more as needed.

Verdict: My first Yuzen experience was amazing! I felt like I was wandering the beauty section of natural foods store which is always full of wonderful smelling natural products that are free of harsh chemicals and are cruelty-free. I was not familiar with any of the brands, so it was full of discovery and also happened to be filled with products I am currently in need of! For $35.00 I received a total of seven natural beauty items that have a retail value of roughly $93.79. A few were full-size products and the rest were sample or travel sized but will be really useful on the go.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes! You still have plenty of time to order the Spring box and it will ship a few days after you order.

Value Breakdown: At $35.00 for this box, here’s what you are paying approximately per item:

  • Bath + Shower Oil: $1.49
  • Body Gel: $4.03
  • Lotion: $3.35
  • Anti-Wrinkle Scrub: $1.28
  • Retinol Serum: $18.65
  • Cleansing Milk: $4.89
  • Calm Supplements: $1.30
