The Ms. Collection Clothing Rental Box Review + Coupon – February 2018
The Ms. Collection is an unlimited clothing rental subscription. Your stylist puts a pack together based on your style profile and you keep it for as long as you like (1 day, 2 months, any length of time). When you are done wearing those pieces you send them back in the included pre-paid envelope and another pack will be put together and sent to you. You have an unlimited number of packs per month and you have the option of buying any of the pieces you love.
The Ms. Collection has a Ms. Play ($49 a month for everyday/casual), Ms. Business ($59 a month for business casual/formal), and Ms. Combo ($113 a month for a combo of both plans). They also have The Mr. Collection for men.
This is the review for The Ms. Collection Ms. Play plan, which is $49 per month (plus free shipping).
Each pack will include 3-4 pieces of quality, designer, casual clothing for your everyday look. When you sign up, you answer questions about your style (size, colors, patterns, clothing type, etc.). An actual stylist puts your pack together so, even though your pieces are a surprise, they should work for you. You can leave feedback for your stylist to help make your next pack even better.

Ms. Collection Ms. Play February 2018 Review
I had a great first pack of The Ms. Collection so let’s see what my stylist picked for me this time:
The included info card includes some instructions for the pack, a handwritten note from my stylist, and the retail value and member price.
First up is an outfit with two of the pieces:
Bobeau – Drape Top, Size M – Retail Value $48, Member Price $38.40
I love the feel of this top, cool and slinky. The cute ruffle split sleeves are really great for my arms since some sleeves tend to be too tight. The color is a rich cranberry with a little sheen. Unfortunately, this type of rayon/spandex fabric just doesn’t offer any structure for my body type.
Kut from the Kloth – Mia Toothpick Skinny, Size 6 – Retail Value $69, Member Price $62.10
These feel so nice! They are like a really thick workout legging and have lots of stretch but also lots of support. They have functioning pockets on the front and back of the pant too. I love the tight fit because they look great under tunics (no bunching fabric) but can also be worn with shorter shirts (no see-through). I’d say the rise is about mid-rise, which helps smooth things out in the midsection.
Veronica M – Ribbed Dress, Size M – Retail Value $81.20, Member Price $73.08
While not the most forgiving fabric, ribbed dresses are so cute and comfy. I love the midi length of this one and how the slit at the knee gives it a little more movement and sass. The heathered blue/gray works perfectly with a denim jacket (see below). I think it would be beneficial to wear some smoothing shorts or a slip to keep the fabric from clinging.
Kut from the Kloth – Denim Jacket, Size M – Retail Value $68, Member Price $54.40
A cute denim jacket can do great things for a wardrobe. They just work in so many different ways. This jacket has just enough stretch to make it comfortable and a slightly cropped length. You can see I’ve paired it with the shirt and pant outfit and it gives it a distinctly casual vide. I’ve also paired it with the ribbed dress and I think it works wonderfully to not only add some interest but to camouflage any areas I might feel self-conscious about.
Each pack includes a pre-paid return envelope. When you are done with your pieces, just pop them in here and drop it off at the post office. Ms. Collection will process your return and get a new pack out to you within a few days. (If you are purchasing anything, just leave them out of your return package.)
A note about cleaning: You don’t have to clean the pieces before sending them back. The Ms. Collection has everything cleaned once the pieces are returned. I didn’t notice any smell (including fragranced detergent which is good for those with sensitive skin), stains, or signs of wear. Actually, everything was in perfect condition!
The Verdict: My second pack from The Ms. Collection was so much fun. The pieces were mostly great for me, plus they all fit, and I like that I can send them back without worrying about having them cleaned. My favorite was the skinnies because they fit so well with my wardrobe and are super versatile. One big draw for me is being able to wear clothing that costs more than I would typically spend which, in the case of this sub, means higher quality than I would typically get. If I planned well, I could return/receive several packs a month and essentially have a never-ending new closet. Just this pack alone was worth $266.20, and for a cost of $49 with free shipping, I think it is a great deal.

Value Breakdown: The value of your packs will depend on how many you decide to get during the month. But, if we say I just got this one pack this month for my $49 styling fee, here is how much each item would cost me to rent:
- Bobeau Top – $8.84
- Kut from the Kloth Black Pants – $12.70
- Veronica M Dress – $14.95
- Kut from the Kloth Denim Jacket – $12.52
