Play! By Sephora March 2018 Box #685 FULL SPOILERS!

I am not sure which box number I got but I also got a shampoo and conditioner and they were in decent sized bottles but I have made it very clear I do not want those items and do not use them so when I come off of swap vacation on the swap website I will be putting them up or I may just give them away because shipping is so expensive. I am sick of hair items because I only wash my hair and use a really light leave-on conditioner or the Pantene foam conditioner and I am very specific about what I use on my hair and I don’t use hairspray or hair gel or root lifting products or any of that so it’s all crap when I get them and it’s just something else I have to pay shipping on so I am about to drop Sephora because they never send me anything I like. Also, they send me tons of tacky types of makeup and I wear neutral make-up and I mostly just wear nonacnegenic Minerals makeup and it irritates me that people with my same physical description get stuff I want and I never get the good skincare that I could actually use and enjoy. I wish they would let you pick between makeup heavy items or skincare heavy boxes then at least I would get more of what I want instead of every box not even guaranteeing me one Item that I will like. Where is all the good skin care in the store? That is why I signed up for them. Hard to believe they won the best Beauty Box last year!

I agree, this is the worse box. Nothing that matches me. So tired of all the lip stains and mascara. Also, I have I have black eyelashes, why would I use taupe eyeliner? If the next box isn’t better, It’ll be my last.

I made a list of all of the Brand’s I like at Sephora and some others including specific items and emailed Allure, Birchbox, Sephora play, and Macy’s and told all of them the long list of items that I would like to see more of and I know a lot of other people would too which are the higher value good brand skincare items, and have seen no change at all and have gotten none of the products and it has been a few months and none of the people paid any attention and I am getting fed up with getting things I’ve never heard of from companies I’ve never heard of so they can save a dollar and the tacky makeup Sephora sends is never right for me because I don’t wear liquid foundation.. I wear Bare Minerals and if they could even send their good skin care lines that would be good but they don’t do that either. I dropped Allure and Ipsy and Sephora will be next. I am disappointed in March’s Dermstore box because there is nothing in there I would like except for the Peter Thomas Roth Irish Moor mud mask and I already It Anyways in a huge size on eBay for about $30 and it is absolutely amazing! though it is mud and does not dry, it has so many thousands of years old nutrients in the mud that it leaves your face glowing and healthy-looking and it is great to spot treat pimples to take the redness out and flatten them out by somehow drying and soothing the pimple without drying the skin around it so they heal quickly. I highly recommend that mask so it’s too bad the size is so small but you can always go on eBay like I do to buy the stuff you want and can’t afford in the store. question, does anybody know if the $25 coupon they sent us due to the small size of the PTR face mask is valid to use on the dermstore box next month?

I’m actually really excited for this box. I signed up specifically for skincare products since I don’t really wear makeup at all. I won’t use the eyeliner but can probably find someone to give it away to.

I have the same box and fine limp hair too. I don’t understand how the match the boxes with our profiles.

It says color to be determined by the eyeliners so maaaybe they will be colorful for once since this is supposed to be a festival box! 😂

Last month I was so disappointed with my Sephora box that ended up trading someone for their Sephora box because we both hated what we got so at least that worked out but I had to pay $5 shipping to ship my box to her and that’s after each of us took an item and our 50 point card out. Sephora continues to disappoint me. I may just look at spoilers and pick out things I like and then buy them on eBay and cancel Sephora and since I canceled two other boxes I would be able to pick up new Beauty test tube with the difference in money.

I cannot figure out which box I will get because it will not show me my orders when I went to the website today and it will not show you if you try to use the app your item number and even though I was signed in it doesn’t really matter which box I get because I thought they were all crappy this month. I have had the play box for several months and it is not one of my favorites and I already dropped Ipsy and allure and I prefer skincare over makeup because I like the makeup I’m already wearing (mineral..Aromaleigh is way better than Bare Minerals because the ingredients are as healthy if not healthier and the selection and prices are so much better FYI, and Macy’s and dermstore are my favorite boxes because they are heavier on skincare so if that matters to you that and new Beauty test tube which is much more expensive is one I would like to get because it is also heavier on skincare and they have full size items usually but it is $40 a box but you only get one every 2 or 3 months so I guess it evens out somewhat. I may drop Sephora because of the high quantity of makeup I end up swapping to get skincare products whereas how much I spent shipping 7 swaps last week was $30 and I could have just bought a full-size product I wanted instead. I have found that going on eBay you can find a lot of travel-size high-end products cheap that people get in these boxes or in kits for much cheaper than you can get at Sephora or in a department store so I have begun buying sample sizes of things that I really like cheaply there. I can understand your frustration. I have other issues with their site. I only found out about this spoiler page two months ago and did not even know you could do this (it is very helpful). I cannot put feedback on any comments (e.g. if a review was helpful or not). Do you have this issue as well? Anyone know how to resolve the problem. I have no problems signing in, looking at history, leaving reviews, and of course ordering (lol). If I click on yes or no I get bounced to the top of the review listing. If it were not for convenience of getting things I need right away that are only sold at Sephora, I would buy as little as possible from them and let my Rouge status drop. Ulta is stepping it up and I already hit Platinum for next year and on my way to their newest level. Do you have any suggestions for other beauty boxes I may want to try that really deliver great products (range of price categories is fine, quality matters)? Hope they are able to fix your viewing problem since that is something you should be able to see on all orders you place. Maybe try calling in and see if you can get past the regular customer service team, I think I am going to do the same since I already did all of the troubleshooting I can on my end (sorry for the long reply). I have box #843 as well. Where are the spoilers? My variation box is always the last one to show the spoilers. I have a felling that I end up with only the left overs every month!

It’s light. I love the Dr.Jart. I actually just ordered two travel sized ones over the weekend off eBay. If it’s in my box that’s fine I’ll use it eventually

I also get Ipsy. And its pretty amazing most the time. Its 10.00 a month. And ur profile is more detailed. This is my first time ordering and if my box is right because I have seen people say ur box is last 3 of order number or last 3 of item number. Only box I found was the item number and its full of hair care for dry hair. My hair is oily. So crossing my fingers I am wrong and dont get that box.

Sephora Play has always had 6 items in the box. They’ve always marketed it as 5 items, plus a bonus fragrance, but lately they’ve started to include hair samples in place of the fragrance here & there.
