I just saw on Glossy’s site that one item is a felt tip black eyeliner and another is rice powder. No word on the last item yet though.

I cancelled, even deleted my payment info and was still charged for this month. This should be a fun call in the morning.

It appears that Glossybox may possibly have a security breach. They charged my debit card $21.00 for my April box, and immediately, I was notified of a second charge by or from ” DORAL” ( which could mean the city of Doral, FL) with only an order number which does NOT match the Glossybox order number. There is no contact info. No phone, no website.

I am just posting this as a ” watch carefully” kind of monitoring post because obviously my bank is closed on Easter Sunday night, and I can’t prove what I think is likely at this point.

Does anyone have any history of Glossybox having card fraud since the HUT Corporation has owned the box? ( I know there were some early breaches).

It sounds like the Boxycharm one.. they have a post on their Instagram page saying if it says Doral it is them…don’t be alarmed. Agree is scary especially if they use same company to process payments.

mouthycole

the Doral charge is Boxycharm.

I had the same charge. Did you find anything out?

tara

I think Boxycharm had the same thing. I just checked my past charges and the real charges say http://www.boxycharm.com. This most recent says “ORDER 2000247222 DORAL FL “.

Do you also get Boxycharm perhaps? I’m asking as I saw a post in a group saying there would be a charge from place you mentioned but it’ll change to Boxycharm as name in a few days. It’s because they’re making lots of site changes among other things and reasons! Hope that helps and eases your mind!

Yes, thank you!
I just woke up ( thank you, NyQuil for a few hours’ sleep) and the charge has changed from the generic ” DORAL” to ” Boxycharm”.

It is a legit charge, and Glossybox wasn’t involved. My apologies to Glossybox and to all of you who may have worried about your own charges.
I hope Boxycharm changes this system when they can.
In the meantime, thank you so much Doodlebug for caring enough to look at this and reply. : )

I hope I can help y’all one day in return. : )
I’m also so happy to be getting Boxycharm again!!

And, to continue the happy note, my fever has finally broken, so maybe this will be a short- lived flu episode after getting the vaccine last fall as usual.

Love my MSA friends!!

Saks & Lord & Taylor had a recent breech disclosed but full details aren’t out yet.

Yes, and I had purchased from SFA during the breach time period last winter.

I’m still weirded out by the 2 charges having the exact same charge amount.

It is SO MUCH trouble to get this bank’s debit card changed ( they will not place any type of hold, they will not investigate any sort of fraud beyond what the customer can see as well). Add to the bank problem the fact that I am seriously ill with an upper respiratory infection and can’t talk to anyone at present nor likely for the next few days, and it’s irritating as heck.

I’m going to just eat the charge, hope that was a one time theft from a random thief out in the universe and go on as before.

The account never has more than a few hundred dollars in it at one time. I ONLY use it for subs. generally, but there is the anomaly of the Saks charge last winter.
Still unsure why the amounts would be identical to GB, ( $21.00) and the charges made seconds apart.
Does anyone have any info into how that would work?

Thanks in advance for any help. I’m not accusing Glossybox, as I think the HUT Corp. changed things with payments, but as an plain old consumer, it looks fishy to me. Man, I am SO sick. Beginning to think this is pneumonia.

I suggest contacting bank as soon as they open;they can give a where & when for the charge. I’ve had bank card numbers stolen in several breeches and have never had the last charge before fraud hold any significance to stolen card.
Stolen card numbers are sold in batches and they may make physical cards or just use your information. It could’ve been compromised months or a day. You can generally place a hold on your card to keep more charges from coming through until you speak to someone at the bank.

I love the Rituals foaming body gel that was in the GB/Rituals box a while back. I was really bummed that GB customer service was so bad that I quit their subscription and haven’t looked back. I’m really glad that I can purchase select Rituals items from Ulta now.

I was at an Ulta recently, and was pleasantly surprised to see a decent sized display of Rituals products. I had no idea they sold Rituals!

Liquid eyeliner pen, blush, and mascara (the squeeze tube mascara that’s been making the sub box rounds). I hope I’m wrong. 😀

Alyssa

I logged into my glossy account and when I looked at the sub details it shows a picture of all items. It looks like a liquid eyeliner, a blush and maybe some kind of face/eye cream

Thanks!

Or a Lip Pencil, Loose/Pressed Powder or Blush, and Concealer?
