Silk Tie by Gent Life – Listed Value $65

I was unable to find this tie online, so the link above is to the brand’s site if you’d like to learn more about them.

I’ve received many ties from Gentleman’s Box, but this tie is one of the nicest I’ve received and perhaps my favorite! The blue silk fabric is very high in quality and the 70’s-esk floral pattern is timeless and right up my alley. The color combo is also perfect for year round wear and will pair nicely with different colored button-ups and pants. I have a few Spring and Summer weddings coming up this year and this will surely be making its debut to one of those!

English Laundry by Oxford Bleu, 3.4 oz – Listed Value $85

This cologne is a HUGE win for this quarters box! English Laundry is one of my favorite colognes and the value of this large bottle is almost as much as the $100 to receive the entire box. The scent isn’t too strong, which I appreciate and has notes of fruit, mint, and sandalwood, which are a few of my favorites. If you’re a fan of English Laundry and like at least two of the items in this quarters box, I suggest grabbing yourself one.

Anson Belt & Buckle – Listed Value $50

I wasn’t able to find the exact belt online, so the link above is to their website if you’d like to learn more about the brand and their belts.

This belt is definitely more on the dressier side, which is nice because I’ve been in the market, especially for a navy one! The canvas material (outer) and leather (inner) quality is very high, you can tell by the look and feel. A cool part about micro-adjustable belts is that there are no loops, so it’s basically a one size fits all and you won’t have to worry when you go up and down a few pounds like I tend to do from time to time.

I also really appreciate that you can mix-and-match the buckles, so you can switch up the look as much as you want! This one is a winner for me in this quarters box.

Royal London Watch – Listed Value $200

The listed value for this watch is extremely high – it’s double the amount of what it cost to receive the entire box and it’s 5 items – That’s crazy!

Gentleman's Box Premium

The quality of this watch is extremely high, it’s not too heavy but has a substantial weight to it, making me feel its expensive. My only complaint is that it’s a little too “loud” for me and my style. The green stitching really doesn’t do it for me, so I think I’ll be gifting this to someone who will appreciate it more.

Messenger Bag by PX Clothing – Listed Value $70

I was unable to find this exact bag on their site, so the link above is to a similar accessory from the brand.

This messenger bag is competing for my favorite item in this quarters box! The quality is high and the color scheme is perfect and exactly what I would buy if I was picking this out for myself!

Gentleman's Box Premium

The inside is perfect for a laptop and a few notebooks or my lunch, so this will be a perfect new work bag because I’m always hauling those 3 things around.

Gentleman's Box Premium

I also really appreciate all the pockets on the inside and out, which will be great for pencils, chapsticks, and chargers!

Verdict: This was my second experience with Gentleman’s Box Premium and they’ve really stepped up their game with all of the products! All pieces in this quarters shipment are extremely unique, of high quality and will get put to plenty of use! The value received in this month’s box was $470, which far exceeds the $100 + free shipping box cost! I’d suggest this box for any gentleman who is looking to up their accessory game.

  1. I am looking for a great mens box.

Not impressed with GQ best stuff box and was suggested to check this one out. It does look promising! I think I’ll wait for next quarters spoilers to decide.

  2. The application cracks me up! The short version would be : Do you have $100? You’re approved!

  3. I was very excited to receive my first premium box and it just arrived. My belt was gray, messenger bag navy and watch gold. I was looking forward to a silver watch and Navy belt but planned on getting the Anson gray strap at some point anyways as their belts are amazing. The Eau de Parfum is quite nice but will not supplant my current cologne. Still an amazing deal and I look forward to next quarter.

  4. Please note that they style of messenger bag and watch you receive will differ from what’s shown here. The watch I received had a ‘chainmail-esque’ band, circle face, and was much more of a formal watch. The bag I received was tan and velvetlike with a brown leather bottom and brown leather handles. I actually like the variants I received better then the ones that you did.

    • I would have like those variants more than what I received (same as Rob’s but gray/black canvas messenger bag).

    • I got the blue laptop bag, the watch with the leather band, but the belt is black leather. I ordered a second box and hope to get some variations. I’m splitting them between Father’s Day for my husband and birthdays for my son and brother.

  5. Are both the leather side and woven side navy? The woven side looks light a bright blue on my screen, but I’ve learned that means little! Thanks.

    • The woven is navy and the leather is black.

      • Thanks for your quick response.

  6. I liked the contents of the box but the packaging felt cheap and haphazard. Not their usual awesomeness (like the super cool wood box they used last season). Very disappointing.

I didn’t like their confusing shipping. Although they said USPS would deliver the box, it arrived in someone’s personal car so the USPS tracking number was useless. I wasn’t able to track the box at all since it originally said it would arrive suspiciously quickly then it changed to delivery unknown for the next 5 days until it arrived without notice and requiring signature. I don’t mind signing for packages but I would have liked to know about this requirement so I would ensure someone was at home to sign.

    • The tracking was a little confusing; but trivial in my opinion as I wasn’t in a hurry to receive something I’ve been waiting 3 months for.

I did not have to sign for my package.

  7. My husband received the same items except the messenger bag was gray/black. He liked the tie very much and noted it goes with last quarter’s poket square nicely. He would have preferred their other watch variation with the metal band because the leather band was too big for him. Still, he liked everything!

He would have liked to receive the same awesome wood box they used last time (or some other amazing packaging). This quarter’s packaging was nothing special, rushed even. Items arrived thrown inside the messenger bag without any individual wrapping. It felt blah, especially for a $100 sub.

I must say, however, the shipping was not the best. They sent a link with shipping info and tracking which was constantly wrong. Eventually it changed from “your item will arrive Sunday” [it didn’t] to “there is an error, check back later”. The “error” remained on the page for 4 days until the day it did arrive. Also, they said USPS was going to deliver the package but it was someone in their own pickup truck. Weird.
