Fandom of the Month Club February 2018 Review

This box’s theme is Peter Pan! Inside the box is a pretty card displaying the theme for the month, and the flip side has all of the social media deets for Fandom of the Month Club.

The bag this month is a great tribute to the lovely fairy Tinkerbell! Perched atop a spool of thread, she’s accompanied by her lantern as well as a toy crocodile. The base of the bag, as always, is a sturdy cotton, and the print is well-transferred and looks like it’ll last a long time.

Neverland Bracelet

Neverland Bracelet

It took me a second to realize the key here: this bracelet is a map of Neverland! The colors are so pretty, and the etching treatments are thoughtfully done - they look like they’ve been pulled straight off of a real treasure map. I also really like the cuff-style of the design, too; it would look awesome paired with a button-down with rolled-up sleeves.

Flight Necklace

Flight Necklace

There is so much to love about this necklace! The asymmetry works so well in this piece as Peter and each of the Darling children take flight, anchored by Big Ben and the second star on the right. Silver is my preference when it comes to jewelry, so I love the finish on this. The silhouette treatment of each of the figures is really nice, it’s almost like a secret - you can’t really tell it’s Peter Pan until you take a second look!

Directions Earrings

Directions Earrings

The directions to Neverland are clear: the second star to the right and straight on ‘til morning! I really like that these are two different sizes, and follow definitely star motif without being the traditional five-pointed shape. I think these would look good with so many different outfits, and you’d have such an awesome explanation when someone asks why they’re two different sizes!

Compass Ring Set

Compass Ring Set

A set of two rings - so cool! One ring is designed as an old-fashioned compass, and the other with a sweet-sad message right from Peter, “Just always be waiting for me,” these would look awesome either worn together, separately or on different fingers.

Verdict: What a completely charming box this month! This month's Fandom of the Month Club theme was beautifully executed, and the items inside were so delightful. I loved the map bracelet, the necklace was so fun, and I can’t wait to wear the earrings!
