Fabletics is a monthly fitness apparel subscription co-founded by Kate Hudson. You can shop Fabletics in two ways—you can shop the regular store, or you can sign up for their VIP membership. VIP memberships work like this:
- Take the Fabletics quiz, which will let the company know your size, style, and fitness needs.
- Each month, Fabletics will curate looks that match your preferences. According to the website, outfits start at $19.00 for new members. (I'm not sure if "new members" refers to just your first order, though.)
- Shop those looks at 40-50% off what you'd get just paying retail, or skip the month. You have to make your decision by the 5th of the month. If do neither, the $49.95 monthly membership fee will be saved to your account as a credit, which you can put towards other outfits later.
- As you shop, you'll also earn points that can be applied to accessories and other cool fitness essentials.
The key takeaway here is that this subscription won't automatically send you monthly packages like other services do. You have to hop into your account and either decide to add items to your card or skip it. Subscriptions can be canceled at any time, though you do have to call into Fabletics customer service to do it.

When I was growing up, all I ever wore was blue. I think because my eyes are blue, and my parents thought, hey, why not complement 'em? Not a bad idea. But by college, I was like UGH! No more blue! It's been awhile since I've found a blue look that really wowed me. But something about this bright cobalt look grabbed my attention. Am I coming back around to blue? Maybe. At the very least, I can say I'm smitten with this look!
I've been seeing these "midi" style bras everywhere lately! Do you like 'em? I sure do. Something about them is very flattering to me, especially when paired with high-waisted leggings. I also like that, since they're a little more like a shirt than a bra, I feel comfortable skipping out for a jog or heading to the gym without a t-shirt to wear over it. This one has a supportive bra lining inside its polyester/elastane performance jersey shell. The fabric is wicking, smooth, and soft, and the bra lining inside does a nice job of providing comfortable medium support.
Apart from the blue, these two pieces are unified by the cutout designs that appear on the leggings and the top. I feel like my shorter legs (I'm just 5' 3") aren't the best for these cutouts, because they end up winking shut more often than they stay stretched open over my legs. The leggings themselves are awesome, though. They're a version of the Salar style legging that I really love, so they're high-waisted and feature Powerhold fabric, which has a sturdy, brushed-cotton feel and just enough thickness.
Verdict: I love this look! From the color to the sporty cut, this two-piece outfit feels right at home in my wardrobe. The top and leggings were priced at $20.00 over the baseline $49.95 deposit you put down each month for membership. As usual, I do wish that more looks (there are some, but they're more basic) were priced closer to that initial deposit amount so that I wouldn't be spending more on top of what I've already committed to. But I love the fit, especially when it comes to the leggings. I've noticed that Fabletics does have occasional sales so that members can get pieces for much less. I tend to order at the top of the month, rather than wait and use my credit later on, mostly because I want to ensure my sizes don't sell out!
