Enchanted Crystal: Crystal of the Month March 2018 Review
First, you'll see a greeting from Adam of Enchanted Crystal with an update on what he's been doing as well as a thank you to everyone who subscribed in 2017.
Next, there's an info sheet all about the featured Crystal of the Month! March is a gorgeous Moroccan Red Quartz!
Moroccan Red Quartz - Estimated Retail Value $18.00+
It is, of course, hard to get true values for something like this since every crystal is different, but I feel satisfied that this is at least worth the cost of the subscription (if not more). I am really into this beautiful specimen of the orange-y peach-colored and clear Moroccan red quartz that splits into two distinct points from one fused base. This color is apparently quite rare and appears due to large amounts of iron entering the pocket early in the crystal's growth. It was only found as recent as 2015 in Tinejdad, Morocco which became famous for this unique red coloring. Enchanted Crystal never dives into the more mystical meanings and uses of their crystals, but I normally take it upon myself to surf the world wide web a bit and find some info. As I mentioned in my Heart + Honey review this month, it's my birth month and personal new year, so I found it fitting that this stone has metaphysical properties to strengthen willpower, assist with creative endeavors, and heal emotional scars. All things that I hope to improve upon!
Enchanted Crystal always sends a bag full of bonus crystals and minerals as well which is always lots of fun.
Bonus Polished Stones x 6
At first, I thought "Oh no, they aren't labeled!" but the letter from Adam includes a web address to view a guide and identify here. It looks like I received some black onyx, Botswana agate, dumortierite, aventurine, red aventurine, and what looks maybe like thulite (though not in the guide). A lot of these are new to me which is exciting. I can't wait to look them up before placing them with like colors on my crystal altar.
Verdict: I love this month's crystal from Enchanted Crystal! The Moroccan Red Quartz is fairly new in the grand scheme of crystals and super unique in color and shape. I think the $16.00 well pays for the crystal, not to mention the six bonus polished stones I also received! Yay!
