Bespoke Post “Sonic” Review – March 2018

The ‘Sonic’ box allows you to choose from on-ear headphones or earbuds from Sudio. We went with the on-ear Bluetooth headphones.

It comes with an information card with some details about the brand, and the specific headphones.

Sudio Regent On-Ear Bluetooth Headphones – Value $99

Like this month’s “Hooded” theme, this box features a single, high-end, item.

These are an on-ear model, so they sit right on top of your ears.

While they are Bluetooth headphones, you do have the option to use the typical audio cable, if desired. You’ll also get a USB charge cable.

They definitely have a sleek and slender look about them. They’re lightweight and aren’t very bothersome to wear for extended periods of time.

The headphones also fold up a bit to make them easier to store or tote around.

Of course, it comes with all the documentation you’d expect to find.

Function-wise, it’s really easy to connect via Bluetooth. The sound left a lot to be desired for me – there wasn’t enough low-end for me and it left the sound with poor EQ.

Verdict: The value for this option is pretty great, but the sound quality of the headphones was lackluster for me.

To Wrap Up:

  1. Amazing products. The sonic toolkit is awesome. Thanks for sharing.

  2. Thanks for sharing

  3. The product has the great quality sound. I recommend it for users to buy it. You will never disappoint with its sound quality.

  4. Amazing product, the sound quality is brilliant especially the bass effect. I especially recommend it for those people who are thinking to buy it.

  5. Thanks!

i have Usb charger and i am thinking of getting this box for my USB wireless charger so can you please tell me whether it will fit in that or not so that i will proceed further.

  6. Eric, as someone who doesn’t know what low end or EQ means, but is just looking for a set of bluetooth headphones in the $50 range that I can listen to at work, would I be disappointed in these? Are there others at the price point bespoke post is selling these at that are better? Or are these only disappointing when compared with the best headphones, or even with other $99 headphones? Thanks for your input!

    • I’m not too sure of comparisons off the top of my head, but I’m sure these are suitable for use at work. The low-end is really just that bass sound while you’re listening – these have a similar sound quality as earbuds – at least to me!

  7. So here’s the deal – I have been looking for a pair of bluetooth headphones in the $50 range, and I get that these are maybe disappointing at the $99 price, but if I use the 25% off coupon and get these for $33, are there better headphones out there at that price and I should keep looking? As a base point, I don’t know what low-end or EQ means. But I do want to listen to Spotify at work using bluetooth headphones instead of the old Apple headphones plugged into my computer that I’m using now.

  8. Thank you for your honest feedback. We have a couple sets of their LSTN headphones and we love them and I was thinking of getting this box for the wireless feature but I didn’t want to take the chance of being disappointed with the quality. I was really hoping they’d be reviewed here so thank you for the service to your readers!
