BeautyFIX March 2018 FULL SPOILERS + $10 COUPON!

This match box was so wrong the photos they had on Instagram after the PTR fiasco not only showed the full size PTR mask also a Jar of first aid cream not a tube. Honestly they should have shipped the correct sized products out to everyone or have a credit enough to cover the cost of the mask which is more than $25

This box has so many tiny tiny samples!

I just resubbed for the Dermalogica product.

A $20 comb is laughable. I dislike the PTR line but agree with many about the mishap of size.

I’m a bar soap junkie and loved the idea of getting a bar soap! And in a “deluxe size” too. I guess deluxe means hotel sample size? I must be living on another planet. Seriously? This box looks like overstock from a hotel stay.

Still….I do like BF. This time my money just paid for humor I guess.

I would definitely call asap to get ahead of the avelanche, even if you haven’t officially received it! Just a suggestion…🤔

I bet they’ve taken off the $10 code because they are now faced with the added expense of sending those promised 1.7 oz samples….

I contacted them on fb messenger and they replied that they will “review your request and get back” to me. (I said I ordered and expected the 1.7 size which was advertised).

Glad to hear they are aware of the mix up. Interested to see how they resolve this.

So now I am mad. I was waiting for the whole mud mask thing to be figured out before I ordered and now the $10 code is no longer working. I tried three times and the last time I copied and pasted and “invalid code”. Ugh!! Plus their paypal is still not working. This is a sign.
I can’t win. Lol.

I just got off the phone with a customer service rep, and he told me they just found out about this debacle and are currently “having a meeting about it.” I was told to give them a few days while they figure out how to make this situation right. All receivers of this box will supposedly get emailed in a few days about this issue. Man, I wish I had called hours earlier like Leyla!

It looks like my box shipped on Friday March 2nd..might get it by weds. If I end up getting the tiny mud mask I’ll be getting in touch with them too! Thanks for all the info!

Thank you, Leyla, for sharing your experience. After seeing the full spoilers and reading everyone’s comments, I decided to pull the trigger on this month’s BeautyFix. I can’t say no to a top-rates mask and everything else is just gravy. Super excited!

Got my box in too with the 0.5 oz mask. In fact, i just accidentally overlooked it when trying to get the size off tje container! LOL! I emailed customer service about it, included the link to the Instagram post, a pic of my box, and a screenshot of where they said “full sized”. I refuse to call them because last time it took 45 minutes for somebody to answer. They are pretty cool over email though. I’m at work so I can’t use their chat…

Ok. Let’s make everything clear. I see full size 6 oz First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream in Vanilla Citron on the box picture. Are we supposed to get 6 oz or 2 oz? Leyla, which one did you get?

I just chatted with a Dermstore rep and he confirmed that there is supposed to be a 1.7 ounce Peter Thomas Roth Irish Moor Mud Mask in the box.

Ok guys here’s the deal, they only have the ad to go by if u speak to a rep, so going by that I received a brand new 1.7 PTR Mud sent to me without any further questions:

I’m obviously one of the 1st ones if not the 1st so I don’t know if that is going change for anyone or if my box was the only mistake. I suggest that if it happens to you, you call asap! 😍

I subbed to this box for the first time based on the advertized 1.7 oz mask. I know the box overall is a great deal, but I’m going to be pissed and will cancel permantly if we are getting less than 1/3 that size instead.

Canceled for February. Staying canceled. I feel like I dodged a bullet!

This was one of my favorite boxes and I’m sad they’re going the route of other crappy boxes. Even at $16, I don’t want to support deceptive business practices.

Well I subscribed for the FAB cream and the comb and was excited for the “full size” mask…did seem too good to be true having a $42 retail.

Since our fellow member has indeed received a travel size of the mask – I’m a tad bummed. That WAS deceptive advertising…no, it was an outright lie.

I’m not having much luck with this subscription business…between this and the PUR mystery box fiasco, I think I’ll go back to buying only the products I want, when I want them!

Straight from their instagram:

“There’s nothing like a full size #peterthomasroth #mudmask to start the box off with but today, we’re unveiling that we included a premium, luxury hair tool from @harryjoshprotools as the 2nd full size item as well! “

So if you go to their Instagram story in their bio page it shows the 1.7 oz one. From their story it seems like a decent size so I don’t mind it. I can’t imagine how big the 5 oz one is it the 1.7 oz one is that big.

Beautyfix has been doing this more often. A couple of months ago they had an Ernst Laszlo combo set that they said was the travel size, but they sent out a teeny tiny sample set instead that was something lime one third the size of the travel set advertised. I have all the details in my listing of the set.

It is definitely deceptive marketing. I also noticed that the mask and the FAB cream containers look like they are the same size, but even according to the apparently incorrect product info BF listed, that can’t be true. I am so glad I’ve cancelled as of this box.

Aww man, I subbed to this box just for that full size mud mask…I hope they make this right. Regretting subbing now!

If you look at the picture up above that shows the products it looks a bit deceiving also it shows the Repair Cream the same size as the Peter Roth mask. I thought I seen one of the spoilers as it being a tube. This is a very odd month for Beautyfix! I wonder if it is too late to cancel on the principle of it all!

Do people not proofread what they put on their sites? I can’t believe all the mistakes I see and find all the time. Why are we doing other people’s jobs? These companies need to get their sh** right.

Ok…Since I’m the 1st to get BF, apparently, I’m calling them now to get to the bottom of this before anybody needs to! I’ve never called, this shall be interesting… 😎

Oh Wow… I ordered because I thought the Face Mask was a 1.7oz size as listed. 🙁 This kind of seems like false advertisement to rope us in. I sure hope they are not going the way of Glossybox.
