Wantable Style Edit Plus Clothing February 2018 Review

When I signed up for this service, I took a pretty lengthy quiz in which I indicated my price, size and style preferences. I would expect what I receive to be reflective of my tastes, and for these boxes to vary quite a bit from subscriber to subscriber. There is also a note from my stylist, Catherine. It explains why she chose the items she picked for me.

This is the invoice of the items they sent me this month. On the right, it shows my cost to keep each item. The total comes to $479. If I keep everything, I get 20% off, plus I get my $20 styling fee deducted. That means a potential discount of $115.80. That's a deep discount!

Refined Ruched Dress by Kiyonna

Refined Ruched Dress by Kiyonna - Cost to Keep $55 (on sale from $118!)

I love Kiyonna! More than any brand, I feel like Kiyonna really knows how to properly accentuate a curvy girl's curves. Plus this dress is my absolute favorite color! I think the ruching pattern in the front is definitely different and interesting, and the stretch knit fabric is clinging and draping very nicely. I love it!

Ruffle Detail Blouse by Q&A

Ruffle Detail Blouse by Q&A - Cost to Keep $68

This is a very pretty, very sheer chiffon blouse. It would make a good transitional piece to spring, but I am afraid it's just not my style. I really like the color and embedded dot print, though.

Center Seam Ponte Legging by Lysse - Cost to Keep $84

These are really expensive for leggings, but I think everyone should try a pair of Lysse leggings before judging. For some, it may be worth it. They have amazing compression while still being super comfortable. They are a proprietary synthetic fabric blend, but I think they're magic! These were the only bottoms I received this month, so you can see more pictures of them in the pictures below.

Washed Cotton Pocket Tee by Z Supply

Washed Cotton Pocket Tee by Z Supply - Cost to Keep $48

I get what they are going for with this cotton tee, but this is not my style at all. It has that industrial, pre-worn look that I know a lot of people do like, it's just not for me. I also think it is too long for me.

Coated Suede Jacket by DEX

Coated Suede Jacket by DEX - Cost to Keep $100

This jacket is awesome! I really like this style of draped faux leather jacket with the open front. It is unlined and kind of raw, to begin with, but I am loving the addition of the zipper details! It is so cool!

Hope Cinch Top by Kiyonna

Hope Cinch Top by Kiyonna - Cost to Keep $56

I still love Kiyonna! I love the draping on this knit top. It adds so much style to an otherwise kind of plain black wrap top. This is so cute, and I think it looks pretty good on, too.

Hacci Cardigan by W. by Wantable

Hacci Cardigan by W. by Wantable - Cost to Keep $68

I generally don't like this shape of cardigan. I feel like it draws attention to my hips and gut, which is less than ideal, honestly. I am also not in love with this color. But this is the second time ever I have heard the term "hacci", and I didn't know what it meant, so I looked it up. Courtesy of Girl Charlee Fabrics:

"Sweater knits, also known as Hacci, have a more loopy, open-knit texture than regular cotton knits and are usually made of blends of cotton and wool, polyester, or spandex. They are wrinkle resistant and sew up just like regular knits!"

The Verdict: I really love my Wantable Style Edit! This month I got several pieces I am seriously loving, and that's always wonderful! I love both Kiyonna pieces, and the jacket is amazing! I feel like in terms of cost and value, Wantable sends a good mix of inexpensive and pricier pieces. I also love that they send seven pieces! It's so fun!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Wantable curates its boxes based on each individual’s preferences as well as what’s available. What you get might not be the same as what I got, but you also might get something that fits your style and body even better than the looks above! Sign up and see what they choose for you!

Value Breakdown: This box cost $20.00 with free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the items inside was $479.00. The cost of each item is listed alongside it above, but if I choose to keep at least 5 items, I get a 20% discount. The $20.00 cost of the box would also be applied to the purchase, meaning I'd end up spending $363.20 for the whole box. Ultimately, that's a savings of about 24%. The average price per piece is $68.43.

Really wish you wouldn’t blur out the sizes. It would be nice to be able to know sizing for their plus size options.

I love the black wrap shirt and the blue dress on you…beautiful! I know you said you liked the suede jacket but IMO it looks messy/sloppy. I actually like the look of the sweater jacket better, maybe in a different color. The leggings are very flattering and if comfortable, they are definitely a keeper.

$48 for a t-shirt that makes you look like you got mugged?!?! At least the dress is super-adorable on you.

That Kiyonna dress is my favorite thing I’ve ever seen you get in a clothing sub. You look so, so pretty in it!

This was a great month – even the stuff that wasn’t you seemed to fit fairly well. Sometimes the plus size varieties of these boxes can feel slapped together with boring stuff you can find anywhere.

That dress is so flattering and a lovely color. Please tell me you kept it!

The two Kiyonna items – dress and top – are perfect on you! The ruffle blouse is totally my style but I realize it’s very much a personal choice. Both of the gray items are blah and don’t get me started on the placement of that pocket on the t-shirt!

As for the unlined leather jacket, caveat emptor (let the buyer beware). Just a tiny drop of sweat from the inside or rain on the outside and your clothes *will* be stained by the leather/suede. Even high humidity could cause the jacket to “weep” stain onto your clothes and skin! We are not cave women, Anna. Lining, lining, lining!

Love Lysse leggings but find them for half the price at amaz-you-know-what. You look gorgeous as always, Anna!

The jacket is faux leather. Maybe that would still happen?

Anna, that dress is SO flattering on you, the best thing I’ve ever seen you wear in your reviews. I really hope you kept it, it’s a steal!

I can’t see the polls (they won’t load for me on Chrome) but I LOVE that Kiyonna dress on you. I didn’t like the top as much–not as flattering, imho, but the dress–absolutely. And a great price!
