Our Subscription Box Favorites for February!
We’ve started a new monthly post highlighting our favorite discoveries from subscription boxes! Here are our favorite items from the past month:
Item: Cat & Jack Multicolor Short Sleeved Romper
The Cost: Estimated Value $7.99
Why I love it: This is such a cute romper, especially as Spring arrives! I love the bright colors together and paired with the stripes. I’ve always loved one piece rompers like this for my kids, and it fits my son perfectly. Also, I like that it’s an exclusive item only people who got this box have – this Cat & Jack collection hasn’t been released for sale yet!

The Item: Front Seam Skinnies, Size 9/29
The Cost: $50.00
From: Golden Tote
Why I love it: I can’t stand shopping for jeans—I’m a size 10 with bigger hips and thighs, so finding a pair that fits perfectly from waist to ankle can be a task. Golden Tote to the rescue! Every pair of jeans I’ve gotten from them fits like a glove. Plus, this particular pair has raw hemlines and retro seam details. Comfy and trendy, too!

The Item: France – The Tiny Traveler: A Book of Colors by Misti Kenison
The Cost: $5.95 (found here for $3.98)
Why I love it: This small board book featured brightly colored illustrations and short, straightforward text. I’m a huge fan of travel, so I was super happy to see a travel-oriented book in this My First Reading Club box! Definitely a break from their normal content. France is also a special place to me, so I was thrilled to be able to introduce that experience to my baby through this book.

The Item: From the Field Shelby the Long Tail Hemp Mouse (2 count)

The Item: Alma Chocolate Genmaicha Crunch Bar, 1.5 oz.
The Cost: $6.00
From: Boxwalla Food
Why I love it: I feel like it’s fitting to have my favorite item be a chocolate bar this month! I received so many, but the Alma Genmaicha Bar from Boxwalla stood out from the pack with its light crispy rice in creamy milk chocolate. Thank you for the introduction to my new obsession, Boxwalla.

The Item: Satin Bonnet
The Cost: Estimated Value $7.00
Why I Love It: This product came in handy, I was in need of a satin bonnet. I was getting tired of using my old scarf. The bonnet fit my head, and braids. The elastic was tight and secure around the bonnet ensuring it would last. The satin bonnet has no lining, and the fabric is lightweight. I can’t believe I got so excited about a simple beauty item. I seldom change up how I wrap/tie my hair so, when my last bonnet was of no use, I just grab my standby, my scarf. That’s one of the reasons I love subscription boxes there are always items that I receive that I’m in need of replacing.

The Item: DIBI Beanie
The Cost: $35.00
Why I love it: This beanie is the perfect neutral color and will go with almost anything! The quality is top notch and the material is thick enough to keep me warm, while still making me look cool! The weather isn’t going to be too cold for much longer, so this arrived just in time!

The Item: Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil in Candy, Full Size
The Cost: $26
Why I love it: This lip color is SO comfortable! It leaves my lips feeling hydrated and nourished, adds a great pink tint to my lips, and slightly plumps them so I walk around checking myself out in the mirror feeling like a Kardashian/Jenner. This is now my go-to lip product for any day I am not wearing liquid lipstick (which has been every day of the past week, if we are being honest. Staying up late to watch the Olympics has really interfered with my ability to wake up early enough to do my makeup).

The Item: Daily Prophet Scarf
The Cost: $29.99
Why I love it: Due to box spoilers, I was dreaming of this scarf long before the box came, and when it arrived, that dream came true! With beautiful, photo-realistic images printed on soft-but-cozy fabric, this infinity scarf looks amazing with everything from a cardigan to my leather jacket. The details are perfect, and it’s so clear that it was made by a real fan, which makes my nerd heart very, very warm (just like my neck in this awesome scarf!).

The Item: Baby Pink Heart Shaped Cat Eye Sunglasses
The Cost: Retail Value Unavailable, similar found here
From: Pinup in a Pack
Why I love it: I am a sucker for heart-shaped and cat eye style glasses, so this is the perfect marriage of two things I love! I am always up for amping the kitsch factor in my fashion! These are rather well made for novelty sunglasses and I know I will get a lot of wear from them in my favorite biker jacket in cooler weather months and in the summer while poolside with a cocktail in hand!

The Item: NaturAli Belly Band Support Band
The Cost: $20
Why I love it: I am in my third trimester and my belly has never felt so heavy before! This is my third child so I have two other little ones to run after and this provides me with much-needed support and relief. This is something I never knew I needed until I tried it on! This band is adjustable and can fit sizes small through large. That means you can really adjust it to get the support level you need. I wish that I had discovered this with my first child!
