Look Incredible Deluxe Beauty Box Review – February 2018
Look Incredible in a UK beauty box subscription that sends you 5 full-sized beauty products each month.
FYI – although they sound very similar, this is a completely different subscription than the UK beauty box Look Fantastic.
My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)
The box has an attached flip lid, with a ribbon and heart on the top of the lid – very fancy!
There three different tiers of the beauty box: Standard, £25, Deluxe, £35 and My Secret Box, £65 (The Deluxe box is monthly, the other two options are bimonthly.)
This review is of the Deluxe box.

Now, on to the items!
Meet Matt(e) Hughes in Dedicated – Retail Value $17
This is a highly pigmented, liquid lipstick with a matte finish. The staying power is impressive and it smells like Thin Mints!
The Dedicated shade is a rich berry color. (Swatched in lower photo.)
Cargo Getaway Eye Shadow Palette – Retail Value $34
This palette has a combination of 7 shimmer and 5 matte shades.
It comes with a dual-ended eyeshadow brush, too.
In general, I’m always pleased with CARGO palettes. The pigment is good throughout, and the shades are easy to blend, too.
Here they are swatched beneath the liquid lip:
UTAN & Tone Firming Coffee Scrub – Retail Value $20.40
This coffee scrub is designed to help remove tan residue and exfoliate skin for an even tan application. (I’m pretty sure all body scrubs can accomplish this – but this one is marketed specifically to address self tanning issues.)
It’s a dry scrub, and while there are some oils in the ingredients, it didn’t leave any moisture on my skin. (I know that’s a plus for some, but I like a scrub with at least a little hydration!)
In general, this coffee scrub was effective but didn’t really stand out from any of the other coffee scrubs I’ve sampled.
Shiseido Perfect Mascara Full Definition – Retail Value $24
This mascara formula was good for lash definition, but pretty light in terms of volume and length. I’ll use it on days when I just want to accent my eyes a bit and keep a natural look, but it’s not something I’ll purchase. (I like VOLUME when it comes to mascara!)
Verdict: This box has a value of about $95.40. With shipping, it cost me about $59.58. I’m pretty happy with that value considering this is a box from overseas. The items were a mixed bag for me though – I love the liquid lip and the palette, but the scrub and the mascara? Not so much.
To Wrap Up:
Coupon – No coupons at this time.
Value Breakdown: At $59.58 for this box, here’s what you are paying approximately per item:
- theBalm: $10.62
- CARGO: $21.23
- UTAN & Tone: $12.74
