I just canceled my subscription to BOTM. I’m super disappointed with the shipping issues. They lost my books last month and I didn’t receive them until the 22nd of January. This month they are missing again (shipped on 2/1/18 but apparently stuck in IL since 2/3/18). Called member services after didn’t respond to my email. They said if they still aren’t there by Monday (2/12) they will reship. I canceled my membership and they didn’t hassle me – but didn’t offer me anything to stay either. I will be watching to make sure I’m not billed for months after this. Saw all their posts about eating pizza today. Guess that was more important than losing business.

Has anyone else had an issue with this company where you’ve tried to cancel multiple times but are still getting charged? I’ve tried to resolve this multiple times, but nothing. Highly frustrating.

I almost picked Broken Girls but ended up skipping again this month. Nothing jumped out at me as different and I just place a huge Book outlet order so no BOMC this month. Thats ok, I am racking up credits for when something amazing gets released.

Loved The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah and can’t wait to read the next book,
but it is titled The Great ALONE not ESCAPE. 🙂

I also got The Great Alone as well! Very much looking forward to her next book. I didn’t get an extra book, but I heard so much about an American Marriage that I might have to get that month.

Well, the first two are serials, and I haven’t read any of the previous books, so those are out. Nothing is really standing out to me, but I’ve been charged for this month already, and I’m trying to use up my credits and cancel, so I guess I’ll pick Broken Girls

@Amber – only Still Me is a serial.

I see now the typo…grr that’s annoying. But anyway, I picked Broken Girls, and I had an extra credit that I was going to use so I can pause for a while, but the extra book I picked was FREE and now I still have a credit lol. They knew I was going to cancel!

I love Tayari Jones so I got her book, and added on Kristen Hannah’s new one too. Excited!!

I’m so behind on my reading. I might skip this month. Otherwise, Broken Girls seems right up my alley.
