Birchbox March 2018 Sample Selection Time!

This post may contain referral/affiliate links. If you buy something, MSA may earn a commission. Read the full disclosure.

If you are a Birchbox Ace, you now can select your sample choice for the March 2018 Birchbox! (All other subscribers will have access to select their sample tomorrow).

The sample choice options are:

Winky Lux Lip Glaze in Sugar

Inspired by frosting, this sheer shimmery gloss looks (and smells) just as sweet worn alone or on top of a lip color.

Oribe Straight Away Smoothing Blowout Cream

You can credit this styling cream for all your future sleek hair days. Using a straightening complex blend along with great mullein flower, the formula transforms thick, coarse hair into long-lasting straight styles. Oribe’s Signature Complex, a heat-activated protein, hydrolyzed quinoa, and yacón root juice are added to the mix to nourish, strengthen, heat protect (up to 450°), seal split ends, and increase shine. Blow-drying and styling will become even more manageable for your smoothest look yet.

Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream

Dry skin doesn’t stand a chance against this hardcore hydrating moisturizer. Packed with glacial glycoproteins to shield skin from environmental damage, it can pretty much handle anything you throw at it (extremely cold temps included). Desert plant extracts soothe and nourish while squalane, a signature Kiehl’s ingredient, works to quickly restore skin’s natural moisture balance. Say so long to dry flakes, rough patches, and discomfort when you make it a permanent part of your routine.

And here is the February 2018 featured box:

  • Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Eye
  • Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré (24-Hour Miracle Cream) – 75 ml
  • Bumble and bumble. Thickening Spray Pre-Styler
  • Smashbox Cosmetics Insta-Matte Lipstick Transformer
  • ModelCo Luxècreme Long Wear Lipstick Trio

What do you think of the spoilers for the February 2018 Birchbox?

  1. All of the samples and the curated box kind of suck, IMO, so I think I may just have to let them choose for me and cross my fingers for a decent box.

  2. I don’t get Birchbox anymore, but I can say that the Kiehl’s Ultra Face cream is amaaaazing. I don’t remember where I got my sample from initially, but I ended up buying the half size after and it’s fantastic.

Actually, I think I got mine from Sephora, but if you’re thinking about what sample to go with, you definitely can’t go wrong with Kiehl’s. 🙂

  3. Did anyone else get super small samples for February? All 5 of my samples were so tiny. .2oz hydration cream. .1oz cc cream. .5oz neck cream. .25oz. dried out mascara sample. And .75oz leave in conditioning spray
I feel like this box was worth less than $5. I think it’s time to say bye to Birch Box

    • I haven’t received mine yet ( I did the double box deal) because I cancelled my account in December because of small almost empty samples. So fingers crossed for this month. I also cancelled my Play for the same reason plus they were giving me a lot of dups

But on another note you should check out IPSY. I got my first bag from them this month and was very happy with the sizes/selection I got. I got a luxie brush, A 4 color eye shadow kit, 2 face Masks, a nice size IT eye concealer and a leave in conditioner that was 1.69 OZ. I was super happy with all of it!

  4. February? Was it supposed to be March? I’m confused…

    • Yes, it should say March 🙂

      • We all have one of those kind of days!

  5. I don’t get B.B. anymore but for anyone trying to choose their item, the Oribe Product is not just great for straight blowouts. It works equally well to tame my frizzy, wavy hair when I let it air dry. Plus you can’t beat it’s amazing fragrance!

    • You are so right! I I got this sample once before and was using it sparingly because I love it so much and didn’t wanna runout Lol now that I was able to choose it, I used it last night and my hair is soooo soft and tame.

    • Thanks @TK! That’s super helpful as I never blow dry my hair, so I was debating getting something else (although I LOVE Oribe products). Now I’m gonna choose it just because I know I can use it to air dry! Woo!

      • Same here! Thanks TK for the tip! 🙂 I only air dry my cray-cray hair, so I wasn’t planning on picking the Oribe product, but now I’ll go ahead and get it tomorrow (since I’m no longer ACE on my sub account) if it’s still available. Fingers crossed! Otherwise, I’ll be getting yet another sample of the Kiehl’s moisturizer (which I like too).
