Birchbox Man is a monthly grooming and lifestyle subscription box for men. Each month, you’ll receive 3-4 sample size items to try along with another lifestyle item that you can select. The selection process opens about a month before shipping and, typically, allows you to pick 1 of 3 selection items.

Birchbox Man is now split into two options – Birchbox Man Plus and a new $10 version, Birchbox Man – Check out the October $10 option in our previous review.

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

February 2018 Birchbox Man Review

The February 2018 theme is ‘Pit Stop’.

It comes with an information card that lists out all of your items along with their full-size values – I’ll do my best to break these down based on the product sizes sent!

Naadam Cashmere Scarf – Value $45

Each month, Birchbox Man allows you to select one lifestyle item for your upcoming box. I decided to try the scarf to go with my gloves.

The scarf is 95% Eco-Acrylic, 5% Cashmere and over 5 feet long. It’s definitely really warm but maybe a bit itchy – it could do with a wash that will hopefully solve that.

Baxter of California Daily Face Wash – Value $1.80 – Full-Size Value – $18

This was something I’ve already received in my September 2017 box – this does a good job and is scentless – I often use this with my Foreo to wash my face.

Billy Jealousy Gold Standard All Over Wash – Value $1.12 based on full-size

I received a full-size of this product in the Fall 2016 Men’s Health Box – and I LOVED it. This is a 4-in-1 wash and has a very clean scent. The only downside is that this will basically be good for one use, at most.

EiR NYC Cooling Lip Balm – Value $5

This month included a lip balm – which is nicely timed with this frigid weather. It’s a coconut mint lip balm – it does have a nice little cooling effect on application!

Hims Multivitamin Supplement Gummies – Value $5.33 based on 30-pack

OK, I am loving these little gummy multivitamins! These promote healthy hair, nails, and skin + support a healthy heart, nerves, and digestion – what’s not to like. Oh yeah, and they taste great with little sugar!

Oribe Silver Pearl Eau De Parfum – Value ?? – Full-size $105

The final item this month is another little cologne sample.  Even though I’m not a cologne type of guy, this scent is much more up my alley than normal with its mix of leather and bamboo.

Verdict: The lifestyle item I chose this month was a super-high value item, so that alone is worth double the cost of the box. In terms of the samples – I was really happy to get multivitamin gummies and lip balm – I’ll use both right away!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? The March window for selections will open pretty soon for Birchbox Man Plus – so I believe that February options are still open for a few days. But, all deliveries vary, so you are not guaranteed the same samples as what you see here.
