  1. I finally caved. I kept thinking ‘who pays the money for this box’? Then, the Galore purse got me 😒. Darn my beautiful bag addiction. I am going to be in so much trouble. Now I am torn between the red and the black one. I wish there were more pictures to get a better idea. I picked B9, but there are pictures of the black one on google…..I am just grateful that my Saturday morning conundrum is over what color of gorgeous purse I should pick 😂.

  3. Contemplating having my husband purchase this for me for my birthday but am concerned that it will not arrive in time based on other comments.

    Question for 5th Avenue style-if I order today would it arrive close to the date of my birthday which is March 30th? I see that you don’t start shipping until after March 20th. Is this worth the risk? I would be a new customer.

  4. Not a good experience, AND my Lancaster bag has quality issues. My opinion = Save your $.

    • Lancaster is known for its excellent quality – Made in France
      I received 3 Lancaster bags from 5th Ave and all are perfect in looks and quality.

      • Mine is not a quality purse. It may be the one that I have. This is my experience and my opinion. Expensive lesson for me.

          • Yes, it was from 5th Avenue. I wish I could attach a picture here. The drawstring closure doesn’t stay, and since there’s no zipper, things just fall out of it.

            Per your description, it must be Lancaster Leather Bucket Bag.
            We shipped a lot of them last year and received very positive feedback from clients.
            If you felt that something was wrong with it why didn’t you contact us at that time? We could’ve replaced it then.

  5. 5th Ave Style by far is my preferred sub box service. Their curation is great, CS is responsive, polite and professional.
    Shipping could be faster, but it’s worth the wait.

    • I found their customer service to be rude, unhelpful, and belligerent (and they sent me a faulty item to boot). Although I love the Mutsaers bags, I don’t want to give them another cent.

      Please be aware that this company does read these comments, and there is a possibility that the good feedback may be from 5th Avenue Style themselves.

      On top of that, they have no qualms about communicating with you about problems right here in the comments on this site (instead of picking up the phone like any normal customer service department would).

        You made pretty harsh comments here. What kind of item did you have a problem with? The thing is – we always take care of items that have some issues, and it happens rarely.
        We can discuss it openly here as we are sure that others would like to hear both sides.

        We do prefer to communicate by e-mail versus phone since it’s easier to keep it on record.

  8. Excited about the bags. Don’t care for the jewelry that’s been shown as spoilers for this box to date.

    I REALLY think MSA should be reviewing more of these boxes, not just posting spoilers and updates on spoilers for most of the boxes over and over.
    I’d like to know Liz’s take on things like CS, the delays, and the variety of merchandise shipped to her. How does it compare to what the rest get?

  9. All my 5th Ave boxes were great! Even though sometimes they have delays, it’s definitely worth waiting for.
    The value is fantastic, and I would never be able to buy something like this anywhere else for the money I spent on a 5th Ave box.

  10. I ordered the New Year, New Me box on January 18. The status is still “pending.” Today is February 21. Isn’t this box supposed to ship within four weeks of payment? I emailed customer service twice. I just phoned the 800 number and left a message. It appears the 5th Avenue Style people read here. Can someone please help me? This is insane. I’m not going to order the Spring box until the one I ordered over a month ago arrives. Thanks.

    • I ordered the holiday box on Sept 23, and I received it yesterday. Every spoiler post should warn customers that they’re in for a wait. It’s not a sub for people who want things on time. They’re notoriously late in shipping.

        We acknowledge that sometimes we have shipping delays.
        In case of the Holiday Box, all clients who wanted to get it before Christmas received it on time. The rest of our clients agreed to wait until after New Year in exchange for a gift. We also had a serious storm after New Year that caused some infrastructure issues. We communicated it to all clients and were shipping extra gifts and bonuses as our apology for the delay.
        We are working on improving our processes while keeping all our customizations in place.

        • OH EM GEE! Are you seriously kidding me here, rep from 5th Avenue. That so called bonus was a worthless piece of paper in my opinion. I would have had to have spent a small fortune in order to ‘take advantage of a one time 30% off one item’ coupon. No way am I spending more money on something that was supposed to have been a GIFT/Bonus from your company. Fact of the matter is, if you can wait many months for your merchandise the product is acceptable. But if you want your merchandise in a reasonable amount of time, well let’s just say you’ve been warned.

          • We all got an extra branded piece for agreeing to the delay – did you not get one? It should be listed on your inventory sheet. The 30% bonus coupon was an apology for the longer delay due to the storm (some people got a small gift candle to.)

  11. I ordered the New Year New Me box on January 18. The status is still “processing.” Today is February 22. Aren’t the boxes supposed to ship within 30 days? I’ve sent two emails. No answer. I just called the 800 number and left a message. It appears the 5th Avenue Style people read here. If so, could I have some answers? Order #18363. Thanks

  14. This company is rude, has terrible customer service, and I swore that I would never give them any business EVER again. This is the only reason I am not caving, because those bags are gorgeous.

    • Not true at all in my experience. I received a lot of boxes from 5th Ave and each of my questions was answered on time, professionally and politely. I haven’t seen a better CS among all sub boxes than this one.

    • I’ve received pretty good customer service in my communications with them.

    • I love 5th Avenue Customer Service, in fact, they are some of the best I have dealt with in the world of sub boxes. =^._.^=

        • LOL! I wish I trusted this company. My horrendous experience has made me believe that all of the positive comments are made-up by 5th Ave staff. These comments can be made 100% anonymously, so you never know…

          • I know what you mean, and anytime someone says they had a bad experience, there’s like 3 in a row messages that say the same thing: worth the wait, quality, and the best customer care. Maybe some are real, but not buying all of them.

  15. The way I understand this you get to pick two bags and a set of jewelry? And if I opt out of the jewelry what do I get instead? I am really wanting to try this and $100 off is a good deal. But I really don’t like the jewelry.

    • You pick the bag you really want, you won’t get two. You could pick a few, if you like them all, and you’ll receive one of them. If you opt out of jewelry spoilers, they’ll give you things that they think you’ll like. When you order, you choose what color metal you prefer, accessories and colors you like, and colors you avoid. Just be prepared to wait a long time to receive it, like months. But, I think it’s worth the wait.

      • Thanks! I like the Lancaster bags, but not the other ones their color options are more fall colors. I guess there is going to be more jewelry spoilers but in order to take advantage of the $100 off I need to sub by the 23rd. So now to decide to risk it. 🙂

        • I’m not a member, so it would be $60 off for me. It’s only $15, but I wish I took advantage of the deal they had when they first announced this box, $75 off. The bags are of such great quality, and I’m loving all the color options. But, $210 is not in my budget at the moment.

        • I opted out of all jewelry spoilers for a previous box and received 3 pieces that were totally me.
