Rosemarked by Livia Blackburn - Retail Value $17.99

Book Summary from Amazon:

A healer who cannot be healed . . .

When Zivah falls prey to the deadly rose plague, she knows it's only a matter of time before she fully succumbs. Now she's destined to live her last days in isolation, cut off from her people and unable to practice her art-until a threat to her village creates a need that only she can fill.

A soldier shattered by war . . .

Broken by torture at the hands of the Amparan Empire, Dineas thirsts for revenge against his captors. Now escaped and reunited with his tribe, he'll do anything to free them from Amparan rule-even if it means undertaking a plan that risks not only his life but his very self.

Thrust together on a high-stakes mission to spy on the capital, the two couldn't be more different: Zivah, deeply committed to her vow of healing, and Dineas, yearning for vengeance. But as they grow closer, they must find common ground to protect those they love. And amidst the constant fear of discovery, the two grapple with a mutual attraction that could break both of their carefully guarded hearts.

This smart, sweeping fantasy with a political edge and a slow-burning romance will capture fans of The Lumatere Chronicles and An Ember in the Ashes.

Every Uppercase book is signed by the author, too.

This book has a lot of the elements I love in YA: slow burn romance, dual POV, etc., and I'm enjoying it. (And I'm excited to see that this series is only 2 books - I'm a bit overdone on trilogies at the moment!)

Rosemarked Tea Tin - Estimated Value $2?

This tea works well with the healing theme of the book, plus who doesn't love reading with a mug of tea?

Mint is my go-to tea for nighttime, so

RML Apothecary The Balm on Mango Street Lip Balm - Retail Value $3.95

This lip balm is made with coconut oil, beeswax, shea butter - it's moisturizing, the mango flavor is fab, too.

(P.S. if you love a good pun, make sure to check out their full line of literary lip balms!)

Publikham Art Moby Dick Notebook - Retail Value $8

This notebook is 192 pages, with quotes and illustrations throughout on the corners of the pages:

Every time I think I have more notebooks than I'll ever use, a subscription box sends a super cute one like this, and I gladly add it to my collection!

Verdict: This box has an estimated value of about $32. The value is a little lower than other months, but I think this subscription is always worth the cost - especially if you value a signed book!

What do you think of this month's Uppercase box? Did you like the book?

Starting at $23.00
