Play! By Sephora January 2018 Box #051 FULL SPOILERS!

I am so sick of getting the same crap every single month no matter what my profile is changed to so I’m really starting to think that they don’t even pay attention to the profile they just send you whatever they want. I’m getting box 051 and I have already received this Narrs lipstick months ago along with the Smashbox primer months ago. So fora used to be a great subscription but it’s turning to crap this month has been horrible. I have received eight shades of lipstick Every single month that’s the make up item might get in there all the same color if not even the same brand I am so sick of getting red lipstick or lipstick at all. When there’s blush and lipgloss available why are you sending me lipstick again this is getting ridiculous that they’re not listening to anything even when I send emails explaining to them I’m sick of getting the lipstick it’s almost like they’re mocking me and they send it again. There was several items they could’ve sent me instead of the same crap and I had changed my beauty profile again yet again here’s the same flipping lipstick being sent to me. Whoever manages the Sephora team just in the boxes out needs fired If you go on Facebook to the Sephora play groups in the Boxycharm groups everyone is canceling because of this months junk they’re sending us. I am so over this and so disappointed with Sephora play. What is really starting to make me mad is that the stuff they’re putting in the boxes is the same things that we get as our rewards for shopping with Sephora play. The amount of money I spend wish to for a play and use my points to buy all the stuff I already have several tubes of this glam glow stop offering us the same crap in our boxes or at least give us a variety of what we can choose or something for a play is really messing up when it comes to these boxes.

I wish I could’ve got this one in earlier. But I cancelled my subscription already. All in all I kept giving it a chance but took the plunge to try another. I wanted to try boxycharm, allure, and even the macys box but none if them ship to hawaii >_<. Tried glossy box but already they charged me and I never got my box and I'm still on a ongoing dispute with them currently.

How does this sub work? Do you get to choose which version you get or do they tailor it based on a survey of your choices?

I am dying to see spoilers for 069! It is half way through the month and my box hasn’t even shipped yet! It’s so frustrating, and to be honest I am not thrilled with most of the products in any of the boxes. I’m giving Sephora one more month, because I recently subbed to the Allure Beauty Box and I am sooooo impressed! Last month was the Jaclyn Hill box, which included some really awesome products and this month I received a FULL size of the Sunday Riley CEO Vit C Brightener. It is worth $85!! The Sephora boxes we have received are barely worth the $10 we spend. One more month and if it isn’t great it will be like Ipsy and Birchbox…CANCELLED!

Has anyone ever swapped before and how did it go? I keep wanting to trade but I’m not really sure how to get started lol

Ugh, I got 044 and that’s it for me, I’m out. After really disliking the last few boxes, a brown lipgloss, really? Is it 1989 and no one told me? And a foil packet of conditioning mask that isn’t even enough for long hair…yeah, no. I’m so disappointed and tired of these packets that can’t be sealed, one time use, small freebie sized…seriously. And my profile is complete, yet nothing I get is appropriate for my skin or coloring. Go figure. Brown lipgloss for my porcelain skin and red hair and cool tones, never. I’d love the NARS lip or blush or sugar lip.

This box is way better than Decembers box for me. I’ll be able to use every product!

Blegh I’m getting #051 and it is the worst box for me so far after being with them over 2 years now…

🙄 I wish we could bring in what we didn’t want to the store and switch it for what we did want.

🙂 And instead I would choose:
The becca shimmer
The boscia gel
The fresh toner
The olehenriksen mask

I would buy someone’s #051 box if they didn’t want it.

I’ve never complained ever about this subscription but this box sux and this happens to be mine 🤨 it’s not even worthy! It is a lotion for your body! And yet another lipstick and a primer 👎🏻 Not excited at all and that’s upsetting. They have one more chance to redeem themselves.

I am happy with my box (028). Though I do envy items in each box.
