MorpheMe Monthly Brush Club December 2017 Review

Liveglam Morphe Me December 2017 - info card

December is all about holiday glam with a 'Sleigh the Holidays' theme.  The included fold-out info card specifies each brush's name and details techniques that best fit each brush. You also receive a 10% off coupon.

December's shipment includes 4 brushes!

Liveglam Morphe Me December 2017 - all brushes

All of this month's brushes have a festive, metallic red handle.

Let's talk about 'em:

Morphe RG6 Flat Buffer - Estimated Value $15.00 (buy a similar style from Morphe)

Because this set of metallic red brushes is a holiday exclusive, I couldn't find the exact styles on the MorpheMe website. I will link to similar versions of each brush, however.

This soft buffer brush is perfect for achieving that airbrushed foundation effect. Its flat top kabuki-style bristles are densely packed but gentle on the skin.

Liveglam Morphe Me December 2017 - foundation brush

I'm not typically a full-coverage foundation kind of person, so I used this brush to buff in my tinted moisturizer as well as my under eye concealer. This is a step that I most often use a beauty blender for, but I had forgotten the precision in perfecting the surface of the skin that you experience with a small brush. Definitely switching back!

Morphe RG8 Tapered Powder - Estimated Value $14.00 (buy a similar style from Morphe)

This fluffy brush features a tapered edge that's perfect for blush application. It's a little fuller than the brush brushes that I'm used to reaching for, but I really enjoyed its shape for a natural pop of color on the apples of my cheeks.

So soft! I really loved the airy finish that it gave my skin, and it was great at evenly dispersing very pigmented color.

Morphe RG18 Round Crease - Estimated Value $6.00 (buy a similar style from Morphe)

The ultimate crease blending tool! This brush is "rounded and fluffy to eliminate any stark lines for a soft focus transition."

I used it to add a medium-toned (very dark, for me!) plum-y brown shadow to my crease. The denseness of this brush made application easy and even.

Morphe RG24 Blending Fluff - Estimated Value $7.00 (buy a similar style from Morphe)

Now, time to blend! The long, fluffy bristled on this brush make it a wonderful blending tool.

I used it to lighten up the transition between my crease and brow bone with a sweeping motion.

Verdict:  MorpheMe Monthly Brush Club has consistently provided quality brushes, and this month was no exception. Per usual, the variety was great as well: 2 eye brushes, a foundation/face buffing brush, and a blush/face brush. All of the styles included were soft, luxurious, and versatile though it was difficult to know exactly what materials they were comprised of being that each style is an exclusive that's not available on the MorpheMe site.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. Order by January 22nd to receive the January's brush box.

Value Breakdown: At $19.99 + free shipping for this box, each brush comes in at about $4.00 in value. I could see several of these brushes being sold for over $10, so I'd say that the value of this box is more than fair.

Why is the last brush not matching the picture?

I wonder how much the youtubers get paid to pretend like these brushes are on par with their tom ford or kevyn aucoin brushes?

Kathleen Keane, Esq.

WHY is this another review of Live Glam subscription without even a hint of the past credit card scams to customers who have unsubscribed to Live Glam’s Boxes? Has the problem been resolved sufficiently that the Subscription Addiction feels no compunction to ward possible subscribers of an issue? Or is there another reason? I would like to know.

Hi Kathleen, Liz has already posted about the credit card theft this week. It’s all taken care of.

I don’t know of any Live Glam scams, but they were recently hacked, leaving some credit card numbers vulnerable. There was an entire post here devoted to the security breach. Unfortunately, I was one of the lucky ones affected. How did they scam customers, as I am a member and want to know. Thanks!

BTW, the free identity protection that LiveGlam offered to those of us affected is a scam. The site doesn’t exist, and the real site doesn’t accept the free activation code from LiveGlam. And, the identity protection site LiveGlam is using wants my SSN AND a credit card number, when LiveGlam is supposedly providing the service for free?!?!? Um…no. Shady.

LiveGlam only has my stolen card number and I’m NOT giving them another because of all of the shady stuff I found just now about the company. Google it.

I would NOT recommend giving them ANY information after the research I have just done, and the links in the email they sent to me. Every bit of info about me that I gave them was stolen, not just my card number, and then they send me an email with the stuff above?!? Oh heck no. POTENTIAL SUBSCRIBERS BEWARE!! Many people are reporting this company, btw. Many.

Liz, the poster above is correct and you should think about removing anything “LiveGlam” from this site.

Cay

I would like to know what’s going on also. I was unsubscribed without notice or explanation. What kind of customer service is that??
