Jewelry Subscription Box Review January 2018
Circle Chain Gunmetal Necklace
This multi-layered necklace is remarkable due to the various sizes and textures used within the circles and chains. It is a complicated and unique piece. The only negative is that the chains are prone to tangling. This piece was delivered to me brilliantly with each layer separated with silver ties to keep them from knotting during transportation. Otherwise, I love the look of this necklace. I paired it with my brown velvet mock turtleneck dress so that the necklace could stand out and be on center stage display.
Silver Braided Design Adjustable Cuff Bracelet
I truly think the folks at Jewelry Subscription read my mind on this bracelet. I have been meaning to get a cuff bracelet, since bangles can be difficult to fit over my knuckles, for some time. And VIOLA! I received this fantastic bracelet in the January selections.
This piece isn’t too heavy or too light and fits like a dream due to it being adjustable. I have worn it a few times and I have noticed no sign of discoloring on the bracelet or my wrist– which is a big thumbs up! I love the style and braided floral design on this bracelet. This piece is extremely versatile too; I know I will be able to get tons of wear out of it for formal and more casual outings alike.
Garnet and Hematite Cocktail Ring
The red gems on this piece are rather striking, especially against the gunmetal and hematite band. This ring has a darker aesthetic. It reminds me of something that would have been featured as part of one of the costumes in the movie, Interview With a Vampire. The square cut is what brings it back to this century; it is such a modern cut! This piece is timeless and will pair fantastically with a variety of ensembles.
Verdict: I enjoyed the selections in this January box immensely. I felt as though they were more tailored to me and my tastes and I especially loved the bracelet included. I have only had it a few days and have been wearing it rather frequently. All three beautiful pieces are incredibly adaptable which makes them such a great value. $32.99 for three fantastic additions to your jewelry box is a heck of a great deal!
